Iconic.

Each episode of this season gave me anxiety. I was waiting for her justice to be served, and the ending definitely did not disappoint. As a fellow female journalist, her success got me excited about my future career.

2 Cordelia Foxx

She’s our favorite bad witch. A story of badass young women growing into badass witches? You can’t go wrong with that.

And what’s even better is that her becoming the Supreme witch was a role she was meant to fulfill. Even with her lack of eyesight, she overcomes all the challenges thrown her way.

3 Bette and Dot Tattler

Okay, can we talk about how she played two different characters in the same season so effortlessly? That’s some “Orphan Black” talent right there.

Paulson portrayed Bette and Dot’s different personalities flawlessly. No other character creeped me out as much as Sarah Paulson’s character did in this season.

4 Sally McKenna

Sarah Paulson is pretty much the only person who can pull off a look like this and still look completely badass. No questions asked.

5 Billie Dean Howard

ENTITY reports on sarah paulson

Sarah Paulson wasn’t a major character in season one and, honestly, that’s such a shame. Regardless, her role as Billie Dean Howard was still an integral part of the storyline.

From the start, she knew that Tate was a tad evil and she knew that Tate and Vivien’s child would be the Antichrist. She restored a sense of peace, balance and good in the murder house. She was the purest aspect of that entire season.

Sarah Paulson deserves every award she received for her roles in “American Horror Story.” From playing the innocent journalist to a pair of insane twins, Paulson’s acting is quite noteworthy.
