Australia – home to the Outback, hot accents and, of course, incredible food.
Down under they have some of the most unique and mouthwatering eats from around the world. If you’re looking to grab a great bite and get an aesthetically pleasing foodie image while in Australia, then look no further!
Here are ENTITY’S top five picks for food lovers in Sydney.
The Cuckoo Callay is located about 20 minutes outside of Central Sydney in Newtown and it offers an assortment of unique eats. What attracted me to the Cuckoo Callay was the Bacon MacDaddy. It’s a croissant filled with bacon, mac and cheese and an egg. But I’ll let that speak for itself.
If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend in the Sydney CBD, then look no further than The Rocks Market. Open both Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., The Rocks Market offers a variety of food and shopping stores for those looking to experience all that Sydney has to offer.

If you are looking to try some of Sydney’s native food, then head over to the Australian Heritage Hotel. The restaurant is famous for their coat of arms pizza, which contains both kangaroo and emu toppings.
However, they also have amazing burgers, salads and beers for those who may not be as adventurous with their food.

If you love to get the perfect Insta-pic while traveling, the Grounds of Alexandria is just the place. Not only do they have incredibly Insta-worthy food, but the scenery that surrounds the restaurant offers a great photo-op as well.

For those of you who still like to eat healthy while on vacation, the Rabbit Hole Organic Tea Bar will become your go-to while in Sydney.
With vegan options and a large selection of tea, the Rabbit Hole Organic Tea Bar is a great place to enjoy a delicious, aesthetically pleasing meal. This is an especially good pick for students studying abroad since it’s extremely close to the University of Sydney.
And although these are all great options to have a unique eating experience in Sydney, there are many more options. Talk to locals (who are extremely friendly), walk around and experience all the different types of cuisine that Australia has to offer!
