Entity reports on the inspirational and uplifting relationship between Adele and Beyonce.

Superstars Adele and Beyoncé are proving it’s possible to be friends as well as chart rivals. While the two music icons have millions of fans around the world, it turns out that some of their greatest support comes from each other.

“It is so easy to talk to [Adele] and be around her. She’s funny as hell and her comebacks are legendary … She is a gracious woman and the most humble human being I’ve ever met,” Bey tells Vanity Fair.

“When Adele sings you can hear that it’s coming from an unfiltered honesty and purity,” the “Lemonade” singer shares. “She creates songs that go deep and expose pain and vulnerability with her soulful voice. She takes you places other artists don’t go anymore – the way they did in the ‘70s.”

Adele tells the magazine that Beyoncé has been an important figure in her life even before they were friends, ever since the English songbird was 11 years old in fact and first heard “No, No, No” by Destiny’s Child. “She’s my Michael Jackson,” the 10-time Grammy award winner says.

One of the keys to Adele’s success is a focus on her craft and the emotions her fans can relate to, Rob Stringer, CEO of Columbia Records tells Vanity Fair.  “She has time to really think about her music,” he says, pointing out that she doesn’t spend her time doing private gigs or TV commercials.

But aside from the purity of her music, Adele’s honesty is also seen in the open way she carries herself. In her “Carpool Karaoke” video with James Corden, fans praised Adele for her rapping skills and sense of humor. And now, in this Vanity Fair interview, she openly discusses her postpartum depression, a disorder that 15 percent of women suffer from, her nerves before performing and her feelings about being in the spotlight singing for her fans.

“I’d still like to make records, but I’d be fine if I never heard [the applause] again,” Adele shares. “I’m on tour simply to see everyone who’s been supportive.”
