If you have seen a model recently on the runway with platinum blonde hair, standing at 5’1″, you have probably stumbled into Amina Blue.

Amina Blue is fashion’s new “It” girl. Her unique look has caught the eye of the world’s most elite in fashion.

ENTITY shares more on the unconventional model that is Amina Blue.

1 Amina Blue is a vegan.

When the model is not featured in a Yeezy runway show, she’s standing up for animals. Blue tells CR Fashion Book that she became a vegan after watching a slaughterhouse documentary.

“I forced myself to watch a slaughterhouse video from start to finish. From that day on I couldn’t stomach eating any meat and soon after, any animal product. I stand behind my choice simply because no animal deserves to die for a meal, especially when there are so many delicious alternatives to meat/dairy products,” Blue shares.

2 She understands that Kanye can be a little difficult to understand at times.

In an interview with SSense, Blue recognizes that Kanye is not the easiest artist to comprehend. She also was very confused by the fact that he met with Donald Trump. Nonetheless, she encourages people to accept Kanye as Kanye.

Blue said, “I’ve seen people go crazy for this man. His followers are so dedicated and so sincere. The thing with Kanye is that I don’t think he plays many games. Everything that comes out of his mouth is usually what he’s thinking. You just gotta take what he says and deal with it.”

“I know a lot of people are upset with that whole Trump thing. I was, too, like: What’s he doing with Trump? But once you hear his reasoning — and I’m not saying I agree with it — you know, everybody’s different. Maybe it’s a good thing that he’s meeting the president of the United States. If you can’t beat ’em, you might as well just join ’em”, expressed Blue.

3 She became famous for taking off her shoes on the runway.

Speaking of Yeezy, at his Yeezy season 4 show she made a bold move by taking off her shoes. Why did she take off her shoes? Trust that she was not being a diva, she actually just didn’t want to fall.

“I had, like, half-shoes on, so they just slipped off, and I couldn’t get them back on, so I took them off. You know, what was I going to do?” she told The Cut.

She continues with, “It was either I was going to fall, or I was going to take my shoes off. And I felt that was the right thing to do, so I took them off and continued to walk. You know, the show has to go on.”

4 Amina Blue believes women should lift each other up.

Amina Blue has 604K followers on Instagram, and she is well aware that people can spit out negativity on the ‘Gram. She tells Misguided that it’s unfortunate that women down one another and said that’s definitely not the way to women power.

“I hate seeing negative things in general, but it saddens me a little more to see women talk down to each other. Social media is extremely powerful and I think it should be used in a positive way and uplift women rather then bring them down,” Blue states.

5 She has tattoos to help her keep the bad spirits away.

Blue is known for her tattoos, one being the eye of Horus that is on her chest. She expressed that she didn’t think she would make it this far because of her ink. She said that people mostly recognize her for the “Eye of Horus” tattoo, which she explains helps her spiritually.

“Besides my eyes and body shape, I think the most signature part of my look would be, the Eye of Horus tattoo on my chest. I got the tattoo because I felt as if many people around me gave me sort of “the evil eye” or bad luck and this was my way to keep those bad spirits away from me. It has a very special meaning to me, and I definitely think it’s something that enhances my look,” Blue shares with Inked.
