But how, exactly, did she get to this number? Sure, Anne Hathaway must’ve made a good chunk of her fortune for her role in “The Princess Diaries,” but what else has helped her net worth?

Anne Hathaway is a well-known and respected film actress. But she first began her career in television. In 1999, she was featured in the Fox drama, “Get Real.”
She appeared in 22 episodes and left the series in 2000. Though she may have only had a small role here, it helped start her way towards her $35 million.
She’s also made other small television appearances, including her vocal role in “The Simpsons” in 2009, and “Lip Sync Battle” in 2015.
Anne Hathaway’s name skyrocketed to fame after her role in the 2001 Disney film “The Princess Diaries.” From there, she moved on to lead roles in movies like “Ella Enchanted” (2004), “The Devil Wears Prada” (2006), “Alice in Wonderland” (2010), “Les Misérables” (2012) and “The Intern” (2015).

And for her roles in “Get Smart” (2008) and “Bride Wars” (2009), Hathaway earned about $5 million. She is among the list of 10 of the richest and highest paid actresses of today.
As for her next project, you can see Anne Hathaway in the upcoming 2018 film “Ocean’s Eight,” alongside big names such as Sandra Bullock, Rihanna and Sarah Paulson.
