5 Names Beyonce Could Name Her Twins

By now, most everyone should know that Beyonce is pregnant with twins. So of course, everyone is now wondering what Queen B and Jay-Z are going to name their children.

Something similar to Blue Ivy, perhaps?

As strange a name as it may seem, Beyonce’s reason for choosing “Blue” is actually a beautiful one. On her Tumblr, she posted an excerpt from Rebecca Solnit’s novel “A Field Guide to Getting Lost.” Part of this excerpt read, “This light does not touch us, does not travel the whole distance, the light that gets lost, gives us the beauty of the world, so much of which is in the color blue.”

Maybe Beyonce will find inspiration in another book for the twins. But until she does officially announce it, Queen B may need a little help from her fans.

Here are some of ENTITY’s favorite suggestions.

1 Red Oak and Yellow Pine

I mean… can you blame her? It’s following the same structure as Blue Ivy’s name.

2 Poison Ivy and Green Ivy

Or if Beyonce wants to be consistent with the “Ivy” name, we think this is a pretty solid suggestion. Then they can form a trio and call themselves the “Ivies.” …No?

3 Purple Rain or Prince

Beyonce collaborated with Prince and she was one of his biggest supporters, so why not pay tribute to him in this way?

4 Red and Yellow

If Beyonce is no longer feeling the “Ivy” part of Blue’s name, then she can just stick to the colors. Twitter user @kaszmyr does make a point… Primary Colors sounds like a great band name! Right?

5 Pine and Emerald

Or if Beyonce just wants to forgo colors once and for all, then Pine and Emerald are some pretty solid suggestions.

And as great as these suggestions may be, we’re all going to have to wait a couple more months before actually hearing the final verdict. Whatever it is, we’re sure it’s going to be just as flawless as Bey.
