Taking "treat yo' self" to the next level.
So you’ve heard about pot brownies and even weed pizza – but did you know there’s such a thing as CBD mani-pedis?

I checked out this too-good-to-be-true service in Brentwood, CA and was ushered in by one of the sweeter-than-pumpkin-pie staff members onto a cushy, grey chair with soft, green pillows. Then, after being served a glass of champagne, it all began with a Pure CBD bath bomb soak, a soft green bath bomb.
Then, as one woman was massaging my legs with the CBD foot scrub, another was massaging my arms with CBD hand scrub. This is some serious pampering, ladies. After soaking in a nice, hot towel (and polishing off some more of that champagne) the scrub was washed off and I got another massage with pain relief lotion.
Oh, and did I mention the CBD chocolate (which is shaped like a heart)? That section is called “chill” and chill, I did. The chair is so cozy and everyone is so friendly. If you have any aches from running marathons, standing on your feet all day at work, or like me, just can’t quit those beautiful yet uncomfortable heels, the tingly relief of the lotion will lull you into a beautiful (if not false) sense of comfort and security.
I have to be honest here, I was having a rough day. My debit card kept getting rejected for no apparent reason (There’s money in there, I swear – We had just gotten paid!), and I was feeling pretty panicked and mortified.
But after downing that CBD chocolate and letting the hand and foot scrub do its magic, I couldn’t have cared less. (What is money? We should all just go back to trading and bartering!) I also fell head over heels in love with my nail color, “Can’t Read Without My Lipstick” by O.P.I. What a gem.
Because things can’t be so bad when you’ve got a great manicure, right? Is that not sound logic? Oh, well. Works for me. Anyway, I’ll be honest here and admit that the service does cost a pretty penny.
These days peace of mind will set you back about $105. So I probably won’t be heading back there quite as quickly as I would like. But I did basically float home on a cloud afterwards. So maybe it’s worth it after all?
