A horoscope with a twist!
Almost everyone has their signature, go-to cocktail or favorite drink.
Even James Bond makes sure that his martini is always shaken, not stirred.
Every cocktail has its own personality, or rather, its own stereotypes. Long Island iced teas are for the party people, gin & tonics are for the scholarly folk, pina coladas are for the friend who really needs a vacation…the list goes on and on.
So where does astrology come into play? Good question. Each astrological sign has distinct personality traits, so naturally, each sign should be accompanied by a signature drink. In this case, these drinks are fabulously crafted cocktails.
We are here to pair each zodiac sign with a specific specialty cocktail, one that shares some similar traits with each given sign. Because there’s really nothing better than a cocktail horoscope, especially once the weekend finally rolls around.
So here are some classic yet timeless cocktail ideas (with a little astrology thrown in there too).
You’re a classic mimosa. This is one of our favorite cocktail ideas since it reflects the personality of a woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. You always go with your gut, which can occasionally lead to decisions you might end up regretting. Did someone say bottomless mimosas? You make decisions quickly because you want to ensure you have the first say in the matter. You’re a leader amongst your friends, your co-workers, and even a group of random acquaintances. Basically, you wear the pants.
You’re a perfectly positioned Moscow Mule. You’re a true lover of life. You love to make memories by meeting new people, especially in unfamiliar environments. These memories include an Instagram feed full of unforgettable times with friends (with a carefully curated color scheme, of course).
You care how people think about you, but this isn’t a bad thing. It holds you accountable and makes you relatively more self-aware. So naturally, a yummy Moscow Mule in its classic copper mug is your go-to drink.
Of all the popular cocktail ideas, the Scorpio bowl is definitely the crowd favorite in terms of quantity. You’re a pretty easygoing person.
