Entity shares 10 dirty little secrets your SO keeps that aren't so secret.

Everyone’s probably kept at least one secret from a partner – whether it be lying about your level of interest in football or trying to hide the fact that, yes, women also fart. (Sorry, guys.)

But what about lies your significant other just thinks you don’t know? From little white lies to egregious acts of betrayal, a new reddit subthread asked for the craziest secrets your S/O is keeping from you… that you actually know.

Here ENTITY presents 10 of the most interesting secrets that are not quite so secret.

Just like on

Just like on “Friends,” these dirty little secrets your SO keeps aren’t actually all that secret. Image via NBC

1 The stealth mover

Redditor arentyouangel guessed his cheating wife was trying to secretly move out when stuff started disappearing from the house. “Then we started to have no money every month (and I have a pretty okay job), realized she was stealing money basically by paying her bills twice a month with 3-4x the minimum payment, and not paying mine… I finally just pull my check from our joint account and she says she’s leaving but is going to be homeless. The next day she had changed her Facebook back to her maiden name and had a picture of her with the other guy at their new place.” Brutal!

2 Foiled by her own phone

Thanks to the “Find my friends” iPhone app, user barrbill realized that his wife is “secretly” seeing her ex again. “Instead of asking her whereabouts, we share our location with each other. Also, so in case the phone is missing somewhere, we know where it is… I know where her ex is living and I can see that she’s there very regularly.”

So why hasn’t the OP said anything? “If she loves him, I don’t want to step in the way. I am waiting for her to come clean to me on her own and if she does, I won’t tell her I already knew.” Talk about understanding!

3 Extracurricular activities

“He always hid that he jerked off and watched porn… even though I knew he did… The last time I caught him I had gotten into my car to run errands and he had his phone synced to my car. I turned it on and after a few seconds, I heard the unmistakable moaning and slapping of a relatively decent porno.” Oops!

4 It’s in the past

Redditor koru999 discovered from a friend that his partner used to be an exotic dancer and starred in some adult films. “Doesn’t think I know. Doesn’t know I don’t care. I’ll never tell.”

5 Double life

One story told of a woman whose husband was secretly seeing younger men on the side… and using money taken from the family business to fund the affairs. When the rest of the shocked family found out and tried to break the news, she shrugged, “Oh yeah, I’ve known that for years.”

Turns out, “she had suspected he was gay before they were married, but nobody talked about that sort of thing at the time or in her family. She knew about the affairs… She declined to tell anyone this close to fifteen years.”

6 The merciful secret

One reddit user revealed the devastating lie he ignores for the sake of his partner. “I know that she actually does want children, and that she’s not capable of having them, due to stumbling upon some medical records.”

7 His curious con

Redditor notasugarbabybutok’s partner thinks she doesn’t notice all of the money he’s spending on NHL tickets…. “Whenever he got tickets to a match he claimed he got them for free through work, but I know he paid for them. I don’t really mind, since he can spend his money how he wants. But it’s funny to me that the thinks I wouldn’t realize he’s spending a few hundred bucks every time he goes to a game.”

8 Hiding his health

“He has been hiding he’s autistic from me for ten years. He suffered abusive therapy and because of it thinks hiding his autism is the most important thing. Except that’s like trying to hide an elephant in a bathroom, and he’s not always super high functioning. So it’s always a weird charade of me pretending he’s not autistic while busting my ass to gently handle that.”

“I have no idea how to talk to him about it… He thinks if I knew, I wouldn’t love him anymore, but I’ve known for YEARS and I still love him.”

9 Not owning up

Redditor Bazoun knew her ex was drinking… even though he continued to try to cover up with excuses like “it’s the coffee I had. It’s the gum I chewed. It’s my aftershave. The guys were drinking, not me. I had to use a solvent today, I must have gotten some on me.” Not quite convincing…

10 Minor oversight

To end things on a sweeter note, this redditor’s S/O definitely had the best intentions. “Back when I was first starting to make my artwork public, I had a kickstarter campaign to fund a tour. I had just started dating my SO, but he gave a relatively significant amount of money anonymously. He tripped up in selecting his ‘backer’s reward’ – an original piece mailed to his house. When I saw the address, I definitely didn’t suspect his roommates were just super supportive of my art.” Aw!

So it seems none of these secrets were so secret after all. But as Jim and Pam once wondered on “The Office” – after you’re together for long enough, are there really any secrets left?
