ENTITY shares DIY face mask recipes for all skin types.

Let’s be real– who has the time or money for professional facials anymore? As women on the go, we’re often too busy to give our skin the TLC it deserves.

What’s more, spa facials and store-bought masks are often packed with harmful chemicals that can damage the skin. Luckily, all of the ingredients you need to make natural face masks can be found in your kitchen.

Whether you have dry, oily or combination skin, one of these all-natural face masks is bound to leave your skin glowing and fresh.

Egg whites have magical powers. Their skin-tightening, pore-shrinking properties can cleanse an oily complexion while leaving your skin plump and fresh. The powerful combination of protein and collagen in egg whites nurtures skin by promoting cell regeneration. In addition, this mask can help clear stubborn blackheads since Riboflavin (or Vitamin B2) found in egg whites removes dirt and toxins from the skin, leaving it baby soft.

Using egg whites and tissue paper, this mask acts a giant pore strip for your face. Youtube and Instagram stars swear by this simple DIY face mask to reduce the size of pores and revitalize dull, dry skin.

Follow these simple steps to create a brightening and tightening pore strip mask at home.

Step 1: Separate the egg white from the egg yolk.

Step 2: Whisk eggs whites until frothy.

Step 3: Using your fingers or a brush, coat your face with the egg white froth.

Step 4: Now comes the fun part. Take a piece of tissue paper and place it on top of the egg white mixture on your face. The egg white froth will help the tissue stick to your face.

Step 5: Apply a coat of egg white froth over the tissue until is it completely wet.

Step 6: Leave the mask on your face until it is completely dry.

Step 7: Once dry, the mask should be stiff and skin will feel tight. Peel off the hardened strips of egg white coated tissue.

Step 8: Admire your gorgeous, glowing skin.

Coconut Oil and Baking Soda Mask

No need for pricey, synthetic store-bought masks. This homemade mask gently exfoliates your skin while naturally replenishing moisture to your skin. What’s even better–this mask is super cheap, making it a quick and easy solution for girls on a budget.

This mask combines the cleansing, exfoliating power of baking soda and the moisturizing properties of coconut oil. Tiny granules in baking soda work wonders by gently cleansing your face of dead and flaky skin. Meanwhile, coconut oil simultaneously hydrates and protects your skin from harmful bacteria. That’s right– coconut oil is antibacterial

Be careful when using coconut oil on the oily or acne-prone skin. While this mask is a miracle worker when it comes to dull, rough and dry skin, it can block pores that already produce enough sebum (oily skin). If you already have well-hydrated skin, try using a more astringent mask.

However, if you’re in need of some exfoliating hydration, this mask is for you! Follow the simple steps below for radiant, supple skin.

Step 1: Combine one part liquid coconut oil with two parts baking soda.

Step 2: Mix until a paste is formed.

Step 3: Rub the paste all over your face, gentling scrubbing around rough or dry patches. Continue lightly scrubbing in a circular motion for five minutes.

Step 4: Wash face with warm water and pat dry.

Step 5: Taadaaa– complete radiance!

Avocado and Honey Mask

The avocado and honey mask is the ultimate calming concoction. Whether your skin is dry, chapped or inflamed, this mask will restore moisture and soothe inflammation.

Fatty acids in avocado hydrate and plump skin with antioxidants.

Honey helps skin stay soft, while its antimicrobial properties protect your skin from bacteria that can cause acne or other skin infections. By combining avocado with honey, this mask soothes inflamed skin and helps rid bacterial on the surface of the skin.

Step 1: Smash one half of an avocado until smooth.

Step 2: Add two teaspoons of honey and stir until thoroughly mixed.

Step 3: Slather over face and relax for 15 minutes.

Step 4:  Rinse with warm water.

Step 5: Enjoy your soft, supple skin.

Next time your skin is needing some TLC, whip up one of these simple DIY face masks. Not only will they give you spa-feels, but they will leave your skin happy and healthy.
