My experience at the ENTITY Academy SEO Writing Boot Camp has given me a newfound passion for graphic design and illustration. While I’ve always been a lover of art and graphic design, this program provided me the tools to create my own digital art and share it with the world.
I came into the program with limited, self-taught Photoshop experience. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a strong creative spirit. Without formal training or proper tools, I struggled to execute my artistic vision.
Sounds dramatic, I know. But with Photoshop tutorials from ENTITY’s amazing designers, I quickly learned how to master the software that once intimidated me so much.
My hopes and dreams of making a difference in the world now have an outlet! Since our first design lesson, I’ve been fervently exploring my creativity. So far I’ve created over 30 unique digital illustrations and designs. And I don’t plan on stopping any time soon!
Not only do I love digital illustration and graphic design, but I think I’m actually good at it. I’m now considering graphic design as a new career path. Which is saying a lot for someone a year away from graduating with a master’s in communication.
The Academy’s lessons on social packaging and personal branding have given me the knowledge necessary to establish my online presence as an illustrator, writer and activist.
Before my experience at the ENTITY Academy SEO Writing Boot Camp, my knowledge of the Internet didn’t extend far beyond Facebook and Instagram. I barely understood how websites and social media worked. In fact, the sheer idea of creating my own website seemed farfetched.
Thanks to the speaker series and my amazing mentor, I learned how to create my own website and establish an online presence.
With the help of my mentor, I’m working on building my very own website–a goal I hadn’t considered prior to my experience at the ENTITY Academy.
Where my newfound motivation and hard skills take me, I don’t know. I do know, however, that many more doors are now open to me, thanks to the skills I’ve learned at the ENTITY Academy SEO Writing Boot Camp.
Whether I change career paths completely, or choose to integrate my new abilities into my current one, I now have experience under my belt. And for that, I have the ENTITY Academy to thank.
