Entity reports on a list of expensive celebrity weddings.

How wonderful would it be to go all out on your big day? How many magazines do you think you would have to sift through and bookmark before finally saying yes to the dress? Perhaps you’ve even envisioned a ball gown that’s twice your size or dozens of doves released as you exit your Cinderella-inspired carriage.

As over-the-top as this may sound, there are some high budget celebrity weddings we all wish we had.

Think about the Kimye wedding in Florence, Italy, for example. It was spectacular. The two lovebirds had their rehearsal dinner in the Palace of Versailles, where Kim probably frolicked through Marie Antoinette’s garden. And, as the couple said their vows on their wedding day, they stood in front of a backdrop of white flowers while Kim flaunted her floral wedding dress that had a train longer than 5 feet.

Jealous yet? Well, here are 5 celebrity weddings giving Kimye a run for their money:

1 Prince William and Kate Middleton

According to CBS News, the royal couple’s April 2011 wedding was priced at a whopping $34 million. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge married at London’s Westminster Abbey as people from over 180 countries tuned in to watch the couple say “I do.” Kate’s dress itself cost about as much as some college tuitions ($70,000 to be exact), and all the flowers used were worth $800,000! After the ceremony, the couple cut into their eight-tiered wedding cake adorned with a total of 900 sugar flowers. All this cost a total of $80,000.

2 Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto

Though not as expensive as the Duke and Duchess’ wedding, when Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto married in 2013, the ceremony set them back about $10 million. Daily Mail it shows that the couple accommodated over 300 guests inside the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-sea in Palm Beach, Florida. Sharon Sacks, star wedding planner, booked their reception inside Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Florida where thousands of candles lit the room as the two danced their first dance as man and wife. In addition, Yvette’s gown was not only a French silk J’Aton Couture mermaid dress, but it was also covered in Swarovski crystals.

3 Wayne Rooney and Coleen Mary Rooney

The English professional footballer and the English television presenter married in 2008 with a $7.7 million wedding. The couple flew their friends and family to Italy for four days of pre- and post-wedding celebrations. According to Daily Mail, the parties cost at least $1.5 million dollars, including the amount they had to pay to dance the night away atop a $120 million yacht. Coleen’s dress was priced at $300,000, making it more expensive than the Duchess’ wedding dress. The happy couple also spent around $660,000 to have Coleen’s favorite band, Westlife, serenade them as they danced the night away.

4 Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel

This star couple’s 2012 wedding cost up to $6.5 million! The two officially tied the knot in Italy at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia. They booked this hotel for their many friends and family and paid extra to avoid paparazzi by asking to close the surrounding buildings. Before the nuptials, they even had weeklong festivities with parties at private grottos and fireworks for guests. Not only did the groom write a special song for his bride as she walked down the aisle, but Biel was also adorned in a very soft and feminine pink Giambattista Valli dress.

5 Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes

Last, but certainly not least, is the 2006 wedding that cost around $3 million. The two rented out a 15th century Italian castle to say their vows and accommodate A-list guests including Will and Jada Smith, Jennifer Lopez, David and Victoria Beckham, Jim Carrey, and Brooke Shields. On the special day, Katie graced her groom and the audience with a view of her gorgeous custom-design Giorgio Armani dress. After the ceremony, the couple treated their guests to an expensive fireworks show.

Well, whether it’s a $3 million or $34 million wedding, you now know where to start for your glamorous big day (and just how much it might set you back)!
