The movie is about a successful businessman who hires a prostitute to be a guest for some social events. Throughout the time they spend together, he ends up falling in love with her care-free spirit.

3 “Bridget Jones’s Diary” (2001)

Entity shares great romance movies on Netflix.

The adaptation of the hilarious Helen Fielding novel is a twist on Jane Austen’s classic “Pride and Prejudice,” with Colin Firth playing Mark Darcy and Renée Zellweger as the titular Bridget Jones (inspired by Elizabeth Bennet).

Hugh Grant, of course, takes the place of the modern-day wily Mr. Wickham as Daniel Cleaver, Bridget’s on-off lover and boss. This is one love triangle that will have you and your partner LOL-ing together all night.

Here’s a story about the love lives of two men, one recently divorced and one playboy who cant seem to settle down. With this amazing cast, there was no doubt that this movie was going to be on this list.

This romantic comedy hits you with a plot twist towards the middle of the movie that will leave you in complete and utter shock.

5 “Grease” (1978)

Entity shares great romance movies streaming on Netflix.

Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) is the innocent, girl-next-door. Danny (John Travolta) is a hard-edged greaser… and a member of the T-Birds. They shared a magical summer vacation together, but how will their romance fare when they both wind up at Rydell High School?

The musical is a classic and you won’t be able to help yourself from singing along. It’s sure to get you in a romantic mood.

6 “Love Actually” (2013)

ENTITY reports the best romance movies.

The movie takes place in London a month before Christmas following the lives of eight people and their relationship drama. If you like movies such as “Valentines Day” with Jessica Alba and Taylor Swift, “New Year’s Eve,” and “Mother’s Day,” then you’ll love this one even more since it’s the original that kicked all of these holiday flicks off.

7 “The Proposal” (2009)

The movie starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds is the romantic comedy you don’t want to miss. Sandra Bullock plays a pushy boss in New York who forces her assistant, played by Ryan Reynolds, to marry her after her Visa expires in the U.S. If you couldn’t already tell from the first sentence, they end up falling in love.

8 “Dear John” (2010)

Based on one of Nicholas Spark’s best sellers, “Dear John” melted my heart back in middle school. Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried were perfect together and you could definitely feel their love on the screen.

John is a soldier who is home for the week and finds comfort with a conservative college student, Savannah. The movie follows the week of them falling in love and the months after when he is stationed in a war zone and she is home worrying.

So go grab some popcorn if you’re spending the night inside and want to watch one of these all-time romantic movie favorites!
