Resnick was brought onto the show by Kyle Richards, owner of high-end women’s clothing store, Kyle by Alene Too. Resnick is Richards’ longtime friend and interior designer.

She doesn’t have the best reputation on the show, though. During one of the episodes, Kathryn Edwards accused Resnick of capitalizing on Nicole Brown Simpson’s murder.

Resnick was friends with O.J.’s ex-wife, and after her death, Resnick wrote a tell-all book in 1994 titled “Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted.”

In the book, Edwards was portrayed as turning a blind eye to her husband, Marcus Allen’s, affair. Resnick wrote that Allen allegedly had an affair with Nicole.

So when Edwards came on the show, she wasn’t afraid to confront Resnick.

“Faye put herself in the situation right after Nicole was murdered,” Edwards complained on RHOBH, according to Us Weekly. “And she wrote a book about it, she posed for Playboy — I’m sure she loved the limelight.”

Camille Grammar even dubbed her as “the morally corrupt Faye Resnick.”

So, yeah, it’s safe to say that she’s not the most loved character.

2 She was best friends with Nicole Brown Simpson.

In Resnick’s book about Nicole Brown Simpson, Resnick claimed O.J. was abusive towards Nicole and threatened to kill her after finding out about her affair. She also testified against O.J.during the prosecution trial. The book gave an account of Simpson and Resnick’s partying days.

She also felt like her life was in danger after the book was released, so she went into hiding. She wasn’t afraid of O.J., but she was afraid of his friends, according to BuzzFeed.

In the foreword of her book, Resnick wrote, “Like most people, I shrink from exposing my innermost secrets and my most private and intimate actions.”

She also wrote, “Nicole and I shared a dream. We wanted to stop being male-dependent, give up alcohol and drugs, and open up a Starbucks coffee house.”

Resnick portrayed her friendship with Simpson as sticking with each other through thick and thin.

3 She posed for Playboy.

4 She has a net worth of $3.5 million.

Resnick is a reality TV star, model and interior designer, which is how she makes most of her income. She also bought a $1.6 million home in Los Angeles.

5 She had a drug problem.

On June 9, 1994, days before Nicole’s death, Simpson and other friends held an intervention for Resnick. Resnick then checked into the Exodus Recovery Center in Marina Del Rey, California for her drug addiction. She found out about Nicole’s death while she was in treatment.

In her book, she wrote, “There’s no good time or bad time to be hit with the shattering news that your best friend has just been murdered. But it’s brutal to hear it three days into cocaine treatment.”

Resnick went from a major part of the O.J. trial to a RHOBH star. Her life has been a series of ups and downs, but we hope it’s gotten better since.
