Entity magazines comes up with a list of five female marvel characters who should definitely join the marvel cinematic universe.

Marvel has Phase Three of its cinematic universe already underway. So far, nine movies are coming our way between now and 2020.

And of those nine, only two have female Marvel characters at the helm. The Wasp has to share the title of her 2018 film with Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man. Brie Larson will also be bringing Carol Danvers to life as “Captain Marvel” in 2019. And while I’m stoked for those movies to come out, there’s a wealth of other female Marvel characters who deserve their time in the spotlight.

With “Wonder Woman” smashing the box office, there’s no reason that the female DC characters should have all the fun.

1 She-Hulk

Shot by mobsters when her cousin Bruce Banner happened to be in town, Jennifer Walters became She-Hulk after Bruce was the only match for her rare blood type. A lawyer by day, Jennifer initially had the same issues as Bruce when it came to being able to control her Hulk tendencies.

She learned eventually though, and went on to become a member of “The Avengers.” She-Hulk also served with the “Fantastic Four” for some time (but we’re going to pretend that movie never existed.)

Jennifer also dated Luke Cage for a bit and I wouldn’t mind seeing a showdown between her and Jessica Jones. Or seeing them fight Luke together.

2 Ms. Marvel

Kamala Khan’s movie or TV show has to be just around the corner with the introduction of both “Captain Marvel” and “The Inhumans” to the MCU. Kamala is a teenager from New Jersey who has a shapeshifting ability.

When the descendants of Inhumans are able to access their powers in the post-“Infinity War” “Inhumanity” storyline, Khan takes the Ms. Marvel mantle from Carol Danvers.

Danvers goes on to be Captain Marvel. Kamala Khan is the first Muslim character to helm their own book. It would be awesome to see her on the live-action screen as well.

3 Spider Woman (Arachne)

Julia Carpenter, a single mom, was approached to take part in a study to earn some cash. That study gave Julia super-human powers, including the abilities of a spider. She even joins up with the Avengers at one point.

After it is required that all individuals with powers register with the government, Arachne teams up with Tony Stark as a government-employed hero. It would be awesome to see Julia sling onto the big screen. She’s even listed as one of IGN’s 50 best Avengers of all time.

But even if that’s not the Spider Woman they want to go with, there are plenty to choose from. Jessica Drew might be a good candidate, too.

4 Lunella Lafayette aka Moon Girl

Moon Girl is another awesome female Marvel character, and she’s just a kid. Lunella Lafayette is a girl genius going to school in Manhattan. She discovers that she, like Kamala Khan, number two on our list, is part Inhuman.

And you can’t have Moon Girl without her giant, scaly partner, Devil Dinosaur. Devil Dinosaur is an actual Tyrannosaurus Rex. Together they sometimes save the day and more often end up getting into trouble.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur are perfect for their own TV show. She’s also super near-sighted, like me!

5 Deadpool

We all know Wade Wilson in all his crass, fourth-wall-breaking glory. Wanda Wilson is the female version of “Deadpool” that existed in an alternate world. As a part of a storyline in which evil Deadpools were hunting down good Deadpools, Wanda becomes part of the group of good Deadpools.

They go together to warn Wade Wilson about the assassins that are hunting them down. Unfortunately, Wanda is not my favorite Deadpool, that honor goes to the one and only Dogpool. Check out that blonde ponytail though. If only Ryan Reynolds knew a blonde actress…

Make these awesome female Marvel characters a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as soon as possible!

Your public demands it. And by public I mean me. I demand it.
