Jenna makes sure she stays 10 steps ahead of the Liars.
Whatever happened to Jenna Marshall? “Pretty Little Liars” seems to have glossed over where she went or what exactly she’s doing now.
The last time we saw her, she was walking into the police precinct ready to spill the beans and label herself as the victim. I think at this point we’re all wondering, “Is Jenna really blind?” Because you wouldn’t be able to tell by the way she sees past the Liars’ traps.
The last time we saw Jenna was in season 7 episode 12. She was in the precinct telling Furey her story. She was also spotted wearing Hanna’s stolen dress design in the street. Knowing how A.D. works – and who really knows if Jenna is working for A.D. – you already know that both of these appearances were intentional.
First, there was no way she just happened to stumble upon the police station while Spencer was there – arm still broken and all – to lie about what happened. And when Caleb walked up to her on the sidewalk, she immediately assumed it was Hanna because she knew Hanna would be there. Caleb confronted her in the street and warned her about continuing to mess with Hanna, but as always, Jenna walked away unfazed.
She clearly wanted revenge on the girls and she was clearly lying to Furey when she said she was “hiding.” So what exactly what she doing? Was she going along with the endgame A.D. explained to her or will she stop now and cut her losses now that she knows they got off scot-free?
Or better yet, will Jenna get her sight back (again)? Maybe her eyesight is the reason Jenna’s playing along with A.D.’s sinister plans.
Jenna wouldn’t just walk away from her final act of revenge. This is her last chance to get to the girls, and we doubt she’d stop now. We also doubt A.D. would let her stop, now that she has joined the game. Jenna willingly came to Rosewood, but you could tell she still feared whoever she was speaking to on the phone.
Regardless, Jenna’s absence doesn’t spell anything good for our girls. Now that the endgame is coming to a close – Jenna has probably been scurrying around to make sure the last pieces are in place for the girls’ downfall.
