Entity loves J.K. Rowling's kind act of sending a book to an Aleppo fan.

Author J.K. Rowling just sent some Harry Potter magic to a young Syrian girl.

Seven-year-old Bana al-Abed lives in eastern Aleppo, and in order to distract her from the war, she reads with her parents. On Tuesday, her mother Fatemah reached out to Rowling, letting her know how much they enjoyed the Potter movies and that Bana wanted to read her books.

Rowling then replied with some words of encouragement, saying that she hopes Bana does soon read the wizard saga. “I think you’d like it,” the Harry Potter author tweeted. “Sending you lots of love.”

Fatemah has since tweeted a heartwarming picture of Bana holding up a thank you sign for J.K. Rowling, which is now trending on social media.

J.K. Rowling’s response is equally as touching.
