Entity story on Libra Season

Welcome to Libra Season! As we move into a new astrological sign, from September 22nd to October 23rd, we gain a new perspective on our own lives.

Whether or not you’re a Libra, you’ll definitely feel the change in energy as a new sun sign starts.

Expansive Jupiter is the planet of luck and enthusiasm. This planet is in Libra until October 10th, so although the days may be getting shorter, don’t let yourself start to feel down just yet.

So what does being a Libra even mean?

Good question. Libra is one of three air signs, along with Gemini and Aquarius. People with air signs tend to focus on creativity, positivity, and proactivity. Libras strive to be voices of change. Staying true to their lighthearted nature, Libras provide you with that breath of fresh air you’ve been looking for. Basically, Libras have the ability to send happy vibes to whomever they meet, no matter the circumstances.

Libras are notoriously sociable, so you’ll most likely have a full social calendar this month. Lots of birthday bashes and events, so don’t forget to keep your calendar organized. Chances are one of your closest friends is a Libra. They are reliable best friends, and they will always be there for you. So sometime before October 23rd, take some time to thank the Libra in your life.

But onto the exciting stuff. We are here to offer you the full inside scoop on all things Libra. From apartment ideas to wardrobe color schemes, we have it all.

So Libras, here is what you should keep in mind during your 2017 season:

Focus on the relationships you’ve been neglecting. It’s understandable that you can’t pay equal attention to everyone in your friend group. Summer’s now officially over, and we’re all back to our busy lives.

But if you really think about it, is there someone in your life you haven’t been paying enough attention to, or even just someone you want to get to know better? Now is the perfect time to reach out. You’ve always cared deeply about interpersonal relationships and meeting new people, so don’t waste any more time. You won’t regret reaching out to old friends and colleagues. Bottom line for this Libra season? Stay present.

Pace yourself. As a Libra you tend to go, go, go without a single break. But this is your season, so slow down and think about what parts of your life you really want to prioritize. Is it switching up your usual style with a new fall wardrobe, or maybe a new exercise routine? Take time for yourself. Spreading yourself too thin will only leave you way more stressed than you need to be, especially during your birth month.

Now let’s talk color schemes. This Libra season defies the usual fall trends. Think light pinks, soft grays, and all-around warm tones. These shoes are a staple for this month. You can dress them up or down, and no matter what, they’ll always make your outfit pop. This light shade of pink will also help you channel happy vibes and keep you positive during the chilly moments of fall.

Slip dresses are all the rage again. Whether it’s day or night, you can always rely on the simple spaghetti strap dress. As for colors, forget the little black dress; this season is all about the little pink dress. The color may seem summery, but pinks are perfect for an unseasonably warm fall. So this November, wearing summery pieces is no crime… in fact, it’s highly encouraged.

If you want to add another layer of soft color to your outfit, we suggest one of these bralettes from Urban Outfitters. Bralettes are the new bras, and a staple of every wardrobe, especially this fall. And the best part? They’re super comfy!

The saying goes that “home is where the heart is,” but we think the saying should be “home is where the comfy blankets are.” There is no better time to redo your bedroom and spice things up. You need a place that you’re excited to come home to at the end of a long day at work, so we have a few ideas of how to make your room pop.

Consider investing in some new bedding this Libra season. If your bed is feeling a little bit dreary, change it! Light colors will make any room seem airy and filled with light. If you don’t want to go for a whole new set of bedding, then even a new blanket will add some excitement to the room.

Despite the oddly warm weather, we can’t deny that winter is coming. That being said, you should definitely prepare for the cozy days cuddled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea. A few simple throw blankets should do the trick. Anthropologie has some of our personal favorite throw blankets. You can’t go wrong, especially since all their blankets are super soft.

Cozy blankets and fun throw pillows also make the perfect gifts, especially at this time of year when we all want to stay in with friends on cold nights. We’re hoping the temperature drops soon, because everyone loves fall. Pumpkin spice latte, anyone?

This is your time of year, so don’t let anyone or anything hold you back. It’s your time to shine, so just be the natural star you are. Put yourself out there. Go on dates. You never know where a simple blind date could lead you. Push yourself at work, and maybe even take up a new hobby or start a new TV show. Apparently knitting is all the rage again, so if you don’t mind becoming a grandmother sooner than expected, go for it.

Libras, take this month to reflect inwards and on your life as a whole. Focus on personal growth in terms of work, family, friends, and yourself. Ask yourself what really matters to you, and set your sights on those subjects. Libra season marks the beginning of the end of the year, so if there’s anything you want to do that you haven’t done yet (any abandoned New Year’s resolutions?), now is the time to act.

No time for procrastination now!
