Andy Samberg is not the only gem you can find in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” Co-star Melissa Fumero is one funny lady.

She has great comedic timing as Samberg’s love interest and partner on the show. And we wanted to know more about her, so we did some digging.

1 She went up to being nine months pregnant on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”

If you didn’t know Melissa Fumero was pregnant on the show, don’t worry. Nobody did.

Fumero told PEOPLE that working with a bun in the oven was not the most pleasant (as expected).

“My ankles would get really swollen,” she shared. “Enzo was born, like, five days after we wrapped. I don’t recommend it. It’s hard to think about anything other than being pregnant when you’re that pregnant.”

It’s safe to say that Melissa Fumero was the real MVP of the show that season.

2 She’s married to her ex “One Life to Live” co-star.

Cuban actor David Fumero married the actress on December 7, 2007.

They met on the soap opera  “One Life to Live” and David Fumero told Soaps that seeing his wife in love with someone else on the show was not something he enjoyed watching.

“Yes, very uncomfortable, but I trust J.P. (John-Paul Lavoisier). He’s a good guy,” he said.

David Fumero now stars in the show “Power,” next to rapper 50 cent.

3 Enzo Fumero is the real star of the Fumero family.

On March 24, 2016, the Fumero tribe grew to three. Baby Enzo sprung out of his mother with all his Latin glory and became the first child of Melissa and David Fumero.

The wee little baby came into the world with a full head of “dark hair,” weighing 7 lbs. 15 oz., and measuring 19.5 inches long.

The actress casually hinted that she was pregnant by announcing on her Instagram, “Amazing time at our surprise baby shower yesterday. Oh, PS – I’m pregnant.”

Recently, Melissa Fumero celebrated Mother’s Day with baby Enzo looking oh so cheerful.

Fumero’s caption said, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms not letting their kids play with glassware and ceramic dishes??? #trantrumcityoverhere.”

Tantrum city indeed, Melissa.

4 Unlike most people, Melissa Fumero had a job straight out of college.

While you were sending in your resumes left and right on Indeed, Melissa Fumero had a job lined up. The former actress of “One Life to Live” said that she booked the role as Adriana Cramer on the soap opera right after graduating from NYU.

“On ‘One Life to Live,’ I was on the set like two weeks after I graduated [from NYU], which was crazy. I sent a mass email to my friends, like, ‘Hey, hope your holidays are great, I got a four-year contract on ‘One Life to Live,'” she told TV Guide. “I felt weird! Some friends got mad that I broke the news that way, like trying to be all casual about it.”

5 She’s Cubana.

Unlike Snooki, Melissa Fumero did not spend her days at the Jersey shore while living in New Jersey. Fumero was raised by Cuban parents. Her father was a math teacher and her mother worked at several hair salons. Her parents planted the performing arts seed in Fumero by enrolling her in dance and acting classes from an early age.

And to honor these Cuban immigrant roots, Fumero is currently working with We Get the Job Done Coalition, an organization committed to helping immigrants.

Keep us laughing and keep on singing your way into our hearts, Melissa. We adore you!
