She might not be Sasha Fierce, but she is definitely fierce in her own right.

Just like every teenager, she’s a boyband lover that has also held a summer job at a seafood restaurant. And we love her for her relatability.
Here are five oval-office-worthy facts about Natasha Obama.
Not only is she a big fan of One Direction, but apparently one of the former Directioners is a big fan of her dad.
On The Ralphie Report, Nial Horan gushes about the Obamas and how much he misses the Obama sisters. “I’m a big fan of their dad,” he said. “[And Malia and Sasha are] just regular kids. They got to have a childhood and then they became ‘the President’s daughters.'”
As for meeting the Jo Bros, People magazine, said the interaction between the Obama sisters and the teen pop sensation took the girls by surprise.
The publication reported that the White House set up a scavenger hunt, and one of the treats found in the hunt was none other than Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas. A spokesperson for the Jonas Brothers stated, “They were invited to surprise the girls and their friends and [the Jonas Brothers] had a blast.”
According to the Boston Herald, Natasha branched out of the confines of the white house to work at the takeout window at Nancy’s, a seafood restaurant on Martha’s Vineyard.
The publication also stated that she worked as a server, bus girl and hostess. And just in case she needed some help carrying fries, her group made up of six secret service guards were at her, well, service.
Even though she is the daughter of a former president, Natasha Obama is still not an exception to taking exams. Natasha Obama missed Barack Obama’s farewell speech due to her having to study for a test.
The Boston Globe reported that despite Natasha being absent from the event, Obama still gave her and Malia a shoutout during one of his last speeches as the Commander-in-Chief.
“Malia and Sasha, under the strangest of circumstances, you have become two amazing young women, smart and beautiful, but more importantly, kind and thoughtful and full of passion,” her dad gushed. “You wore the burden of years in the spotlight so easily. Of all that I’ve done in my life, I’m most proud to be your dad.”
In an interview with Politico, Barack Obama claimed that one of the hardest moments of his life came when Natasha fell ill as a baby.
The former president said, “Sasha got meningitis when she was three months old. I still remember going to the hospital together and they had to give her a spinal tap. Your world narrows to this very small point. There’s one thing you care about and you don’t care about anything else.”
Thankfully, she made it.
On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Barack Obama revealed that while Natasha was teaching him how to use Snapchat, she was also recording him being “such a dad” for her own Snapchat.
“Sasha gave me instructions on Snapchat. One night at dinner, we’re sitting there, and I had read that Snapchat was becoming really popular among her age cohort,” he shared. “So I said, ‘So tell me about Snapchat.’ So she starts explaining stuff. ‘And then you can make little faces on your picture and this and that and the other…’ And at the end of it, Michelle and I are sitting there … Come to find out she [Sasha] was recording us the whole time and then sent it to her friends afterwards.”
Good to know they can each laugh with each other.
Even though the Obamas are out of the white house, that doesn’t mean that they left Washington. USA Today reported that Obama and his family will stay in Washington so Sasha can finish high school.
“We’re going to have to stay a couple of years so Sasha can finish. Transferring someone in the middle of high school — tough,” said the former president.
Whether she stays in Washington or not, however, Natasha Obama will always stay in our hearts. We only wish the best for you, Sasha!
