Entity argues why Hollywood needs to make a "Bridesmaids" sequel.

Love or hate the movie “Bridesmaids,” the 2011 comedy was ground breaking for the entertainment world. The film successfully crossed the chick flick with the sexually explicit raunch comedy genre. Its use of fart humor was a feminist feat, one that proved women can be just as disgusting (and funny) as men. This female-written, female-centric comedy needs a sequel—because if “The Hangover” can become a successful trilogy, why not “Bridesmaids”?

Here’s a collection of questions we need answered in a “Bridesmaids” sequel.

IS LILLIAN HAPPY?

Towards the end of the film, Lillian disappears because she’s afraid of leaving her life in Milwaukee. How did her marriage turn out? Is she a mom now? Does she still work? Did she ever really settled down?

HOW DO LILLIAN AND ANNIE DO LONG DISTANCE FRIENDSHIP?

Annie’s probably still living in Milwaukee, so how do they keep their friendship going? Do they Skype every Friday? Is Annie a godmother to Lillian’s children (if she has them)?

WHO’S ENGAGED?

Did things work out with Annie and Officer Rhodes? Are they in love? What about Megan and Air Marshal John? Are the soulmates already married?

DOES ANNIE OWN HER OWN BAKERY?

We saw Annie start to bake again towards the end of the movie. Is she successful now? Does she own her own cute, little bakery? Or maybe she’s like Wicked Good Cupcakes and she has a bakery franchise.

ARE GIL AND BRYNN STILL WEIRD AND INCESTY?

These characters were two of the weirdest and rudest roommates ever. We doubt Annie would ever move back in with them again but maybe they will make a reappearance selling bath toys or something.

IS HELEN STILL SUPER ANNOYING OR IS SHE ENDEARING NOW?

Helen was a super yuppie during the original movie and her perfectness was always outshining Annie’s. However, towards the end of the film the two became friends. Maybe in the sequel Lillian and Helen are fighting for Annie’s friendship. Or maybe they’re all just happy, good-natured friends—who have fun at a Chippendales.
