The new cast of “Wrecked” is really adding a new, hilarious dynamic to the series. This probably has a lot to do with the amazing idea to bring pirates onto the show.

They not only play on the stereotypical pirate character that brings lots of laughs, but they also give the original cast new people to interact with. We get to see our characters’ personalities shift depending on the situation. And now, the situation is a complete take-over by The Barracuda and her pirates.

That is not to say that the “Wrecked” episodes weren’t already hilarious, or that season “Wrecked” season one didn’t already have an amazing line-up. However, it is good to have variety and dynamic shifts in a series, and season two has done just that.

The Newbies of “Wrecked”

1 Ebonee Noel as The Barracuda

Noel plays The Barracuda, a woman completely tired of the pirate life. She has an affinity for nice things, and the pirate business just isn’t what it used to be. Therefore, she’s decided to rape (wait for it) the island and the passengers’ luggage to get everything she needs for her retirement. Her character adds dry humor and more female power to each episode.

Her past movies include “Long Nights Short Mornings” (2016), “Tiny Things” (2014) and “Product of My Environment” (2013). She is new to the television world, but she’s fitting right in.

2 Ravi Patel as Tank Top

Patel is second-in-command for his pirate motley crew, and he seems like the least… well, stupid. Although, he’s still pretty dumb. That’s okay though because what he lacks in intelligence, he makes up for in enthusiasm. He and his partner in crime, Bandana, make wonderful contrasts to The Barracuda’s serious demeanor. They fit in with the original Wrecked crew with their level of goofiness and their desire to have a good time.

Ravi Patel has a pretty strong background in blockbuster movies and TV shows, such as “Transformers” (2007), “Grandfathered” (2015) and “Powder Blue” (2009). However, he’s also been in “The Last Hurrah,” “Get a Job,” “Past Life” and “Meet the Patels” (2014).

3 Lucas Hazlett as Bandana

Similar to Tank Top, Bandana is a bit… overzealous. Although he tends to let his excitement take over and put himself and his crew under awkward circumstances. He’s obsessed with the act of blasting his gun off in the air in celebration of everything. Nevertheless, he’s a great asset to the pirate team because he’s very observant and knows when to call in the big guns once a situation has escaped them.

Some of Hazlett’s bigger past projects consist of “Remake” (2014), “Money From Strangers” (2012) and “4th Man Out” (2015). However, he’s been in a lot of comedic skits and mini-episodes, including CBS’ 2016 “Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase.

If you’re not already, you should definitely be watching this season of the “Wrecked” TV show. Season two promises to be the best one yet. Click below to view this season’s trailer.
