Nicole Richie is known for having a wildly fun and candid personality, as well as her own, unique sense of style.
The 5’1″ fashion icon is not afraid of speaking her mind and being a fashion rebel in her own right.
Nicole has had quite an adventurous life and continues to make us laugh at her interesting sense of humor. I have to say, she is one-of-a-kind and I applaud her for living as her authentic self.

Richie’s early years were rebellious and being Lionel Richie’s daughter growing up in the lime light brought its concerns.
She was adopted at the age of four, when Lionel first met his soon-to-be daughter at a Prince concert where she was on stage playing the tambourin with her biological parents who were going through some tough times. Lionel fell in love with Nicole and adopted her a year later.
In 2003, Nicole was arrested with possession of heroin and subsequently checked in to rehab. Her father, Lionel and his then-wife Brenda Richie were supportive of her and checked in with her to offer her support.
In an interview with PopSugar, Lionel shares the heartwarming words he gave Nicole during her troubles with drugs, “I said, ‘I am with you’ and I cancelled [my] tour. I said, ‘Me and your mother [Brenda Richie]’ — who didn’t get along that well — ‘Me and your mother are checking into rehab with you.'”
Like we have seen on her 2014 VH1 show “Candidly Nicole,” as well as the – let’s be real – iconic program that was “The Simple Life” with Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie is hilarious. She is not afraid of making a fool of herself for a laugh and definitely does not care what other people think of her.
She also shares that her father, Lionel, is the exact same way. His personality is very funny and he loves making people laugh.
Now we see where she gets it from.
Her comedic sitcom will be produced by Tina Fey (who’s ridiculously funny as we all well know), along with Robert Carlock and Tracy Wigfield.
NBC sitcom, “Great News” fits Richie’s personality so well. She is funny, cheeky and a natural, says Tina Fey. “Her character is meant to be cool and current in a way that intimidates her co-star, but she also has to be funny and likable for the home audience.”
Nicole Richie has been married to Good Charlotte band member Joel Madden since 2010. A little white lie brought them both together when Richie told Madden that her favorite show was “The Wire” just to get him to hang out with her. Turns out, she really hated the show!
The couple now has two kids, nine-year-old, Harlow, and seven-year-old, Sparrow.
Nicole Richie is living her life on Instagram. The fashion icon and now-comedic actor shares her life and business ventures with her 3.8 million followers and dishes about her new fashion line called House of Harlow.
Between her wild past, two children, famous husband, fashion line and new TV series, you could certainly say that Nicole Richie has a lot going on in her busy, exciting life.
