Entity explains how to apply fake eye so they look real.

If only we were all born with the long, beautiful, luscious eyelashes of our dreams. Not that our natural lashes don’t do the trick with a little mascara – it’s just nice to have a little extra length and flirtatious curl for a night out.

Easier said than done, though. False eyelashes, if not applied correctly, can either look painfully fake or fall off throughout the night. Follow these steps to make those fake lashes look real and have your eyes be the showstoppers that they are.

1 WASH YOUR HANDS.

Don’t start the process until you wash your hands. If you don’t wash your hands, you run the risk of getting bacteria into your eyes. At that point, forget the lashes – you’ll need ointments and medicine instead! Protect your eyes and wash your hands.

2 AVOID FULL SETS.

Individual lashes are best. They give you that natural look and add length to your lashes without looking too fake and heavy.

3 DON’T CURL BEFORE.

Curling before can cause a bit of awkwardness when you lay the fake lashes on the real ones. Curling your lashes after the application allows your lashes to mesh together and curl at the same length. This will provide consistency with your lashes, seamlessly blending the fake with the real.

4 ADHESIVE.

Dip the end of the eyelash into adhesive glue and then place in between lashes. Don’t put them all in one place. Remember, you still want the natural look. Make sure you read how long the adhesive lasts: you don’t want to accidentally rip your real eyelashes out at the end of the night! Know ahead of time when it is best to remove the lashes. While you love your fake lashes, you also want to keep your real ones intact.

Now you’re set! Nobody will be able to guess that you’re wearing some falsies. Time to bat those luscious lashes all night!
