Seeing a gold heart on your friends list but don't know what it means? We've got the answer.

While some are easy to guess, others had us scratching our heads trying to figure out what they stand for.
ENTITY wanted to make it easier for you. So, here are the 13 emojis you will see on Snapchat (eventually) and what they all mean.
There is something really interesting on your friend’s Snapchat. Why? A gold star means someone has replayed one of their snaps in the past 24 hours. Looks like you’ve got a popular friend.
This spot is most likely reserved for your best friend. Or it could be for your significant other. Why? A yellow heart means this friend is your #1 best friend and you are theirs. You both send the most snaps to each other.
One step up from the yellow heart is the red heart. Why? A red heart means you have been #1 best friends with this person for two weeks. Talk about consistency.
Then you’ve got virtual proof that you and your #1 best friend are dedicated to each other. Why? Pink hearts mean you have been #1 best friends with this person for two months. It’s quite the achievement, really.
If this emoji pops up on your screen, you probably just made a new friend. Why? A baby emoji means you just added each other and it essentially encourages you to start snapping.
Looks like you have a common friend or are part of a group. Why? A face with sunglasses emoji means one of your best friends is one of their best friends. You both send a lot of snaps to the same person. Unfortunately, though, you can’t really figure out who this special person is unless you ask your friend.
Well this is awkward. Why? A grimacing face emoji means you and this friend have the same #1 best friend. You both send the most snaps to the same person.
This is for that person that sends you a dozen snaps that you never reply to. Why? A smirking face emoji means you are one of their best friends, but they are not one of yours.
You probably like this person a lot. But there is someone who you still care about a little more. Why? A smiling face emoji means this person is one of your best friends because you snap them a lot. But, they did not quite reach that #1 spot.
This person is hot on your interest radar. And you are also on theirs. Why? A fire emoji means you are on a snap streak. You snap this person every day and they snap you back. Be mindful, though, be the fire emoji only shows up after a three-day streak.
Trying to set a record? This one is for the ultimate best friends. Why? A hundred emoji means you snapped this person every day for 100 days. And they snapped you back!
You and this friend are on a snap streak and Snapchat is giving you a warning. Why? An hourglass emoji means your snap streak will end unless you send another snap to keep it going. If you’re truly dedicated, you can even be one of those people who call their friends to make sure to snap you back.
You no longer need a calendar. Why? A birthday cake emoji means it is your friend’s birthday today. The catch? This emoji only shows up if your friend enables the “Birthday Party” feature in their settings. If they don’t and you’re terrible with dates… you should probably set a reminder yourself.
That’s pretty much it! You’re basically a Snapchat pro now. Now you can spend your time sending selfies to your friends instead of fiddling with Snapchat and trying to figure out how to use it.
