Women have made a significant impact on the workforce, especially in the entertainment industry. We now see women as strong female leads on television who portray the idea that women can simply have it all. Shows like “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “How to Get Away With Murder” prove just that, and little girls can now see themselves on television.
It takes a lot of strength, patience and courage to be successful and powerful in this patriarchal society, and women make it look effortless. With that being said, here are some inspirational strong women quotes for motivation from popular TV shows.
Olivia Pope’s infamous “nasty woman” speech to Mellie in “Scandal” was considered a hit when it aired.
