ENTITY shares more on Tiffany Haddish.

Tiffany Haddish has officially won our hearts.

After landing her breakout role in the 2017 film “Girls Trip,” where she stars alongside Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith, all eyes have been on her.

Is this woman anything but a natural born comedian?  Well, here’s what we found out about Haddish’s journey.

1 She was quite the rebel when she was younger.

Tiffany Haddish fell into comedy because her behavior when she was younger got her into a lot of trouble. She shared with the Los Angeles Times that she slipped into comedy because her social worker gave her an ultimatum.

“So my social worker was like, ‘You have two choices this time. You can go to Laugh Factory Academy Camp or you can go to psychiatric therapy. Which one you want to do this summer?'” shared Haddish. “I was like, ‘Which one got drugs?’ and I went to comedy camp.”

And according to her, going to the Laugh Factory Academy camp helped her with her self-esteem. “They taught me confidence, communication skills, how to write, how to have stage presence,” she added.

2 Tiffany Haddish wants to do hard core drugs when she’s 70.

Looks like Haddish’s sense of humor won’t dwindle with age.

In an interview with the Breakfast Club, Haddish expressed that the only recreational drug she consumes is marijuana. She thinks that it will be okay to do drugs when she’s 70, however, since she’s going to be suffering anyway.

“When I turn 70 that’s when I’m gonna try all the hard stuff, because that’s when it makes sense to do drugs … that’s when I’m gonna be in pain anyways. My joints gonna be hurting, back and all that stuff. Then I should be high,” Haddish said on the podcast.

Well, I mean, that’s one way to look at aging.

3 Haddish doesn’t regret the way she grew up.

She also told the Breakfast Club podcast that she felt like meeting her father as an adult after being absent from her life was a good thing.

“Him not being there allowed me to experience so many things. [It] allowed me to be loved by so many different people. And be fathered and nurtured by so many different people,” she said. “It’s probably a good thing he wasn’t around, he might not have been a good dad. And I thanked him for that.”

4 She was in foster care because her mom got in a car accident.

Tiffany Haddish shared with People that an accident caused her mother’s schizophrenia. After her mother became mentally ill, she had to be the caretaker for her mother and four siblings. Unfortunately, this took a toll on such a young girl.

“She was never the same after that. She wasn’t normal anymore. As the oldest sibling, Haddish became the caretaker for her two sisters and two brothers. I was basically a 10-year-old mom. I was feeding them and dressing them. I was taking care of everybody,” shared Haddish.

She also recalled also having to teach her mother how to get ready for the day.

She said, “I was suddenly having to teach her how to tie her shoes.Everything my mom had taught me for the first nine years of my life, now I was teaching her.” Two years after the accident she and her siblings were split up into separate foster homes.

And while no 10-year-old should ever have the responsibility to care for her family, it did push her to work even harder.

5 She thinks that you can do anything you put your mind to.

Being in the foster care system and having a rough childhood did not stop Haddish from moving forward. In fact, it has only driven her, and she told The Huffington Post that you can make anything possible as long as you work hard.

Tiffany Haddish said, “No matter where you come from and no matter what you’ve been through, whatever you want to be in life, you can do it. Do one thing everyday towards that goal. It’ll happen, and it’ll come true.”

Well said, Tiffany. We can’t wait to see what’s up next for you!
