You may know Mark Cuban as the famous face from ABC’s “Shark Tank.” Not to mention, he’s also a billionaire and the owner of the Dallas Mavericks. But who is Tiffany Stewart, his life partner?

Well for starters, Cuban and Stewart have been married for 15 years. Although Tiffany Stewart’s life seems to be hidden from the world, we did find a couple things about her.

Here are five things we learned about this shark’s wife.

1 Tiffany Stewart is 14 years younger than her husband.

Age is nothing but a number. At least that’s the motto Tiffany Stewart and Mark Cuban live by.

Tiffany Stewart was born on Jan. 1, 1970, making her 14 years younger than him. According to Forbes, Tiffany Stewart was working in sales at an advertising agency at the time and met her now husband at a gym in Dallas, Texas.

Not such a glamorous place to meet your future husband, but Tiffany Stewart made it work.

The couple met in 1997 and got married five years later, in 2002.

2 Her wedding took place on a beach in Barbados.

Her wedding ceremony was very low key. And when we say low key, we mean low key. Only 20 of their closest friends and family attended the event.

Event planner Russell Holloway told the Associated Press, “It was a very traditional, very elegant, beautiful wedding and reception.”

With the fame and money they had, you would think they’d have a Kim Kardashian and Kanye West-style wedding. But they were very discreet when it came to tying the knot.

Tiffany Stewart and Mark Cuban have three children together: Alexis, Alyssa and Jake.

Mark Cuban told Business Insider, he and Tiffany have a nanny but are still very involved in parenting.

“We have a nanny,” Cuban says. “Unless it’s the night of a Mavs game and Tiff and I are going to a game, then they’re out by 6 or 7 and then it’s real world. On the weekends we have someone in the morning so Tiff and I go workout Saturday mornings. Then the rest of the weekend it’s just us. It’s us putting them to bed. It’s us at dinner. We try to be as normal as possible.”

Tiffany and Mark are also not the kind of parents that spoil their children. Just because they can, it doesn’t mean they do.

He says, “I’m not the dad that comes home with a ton of presents. I am the dad that says, ‘Pick that up. Take that; put it in the sink. No, you have to earn that.’ I want them to recognize that the only thing special about themselves is what they make for themselves.”

The Cuban household seems to have some pretty common parenting strategies. Good for them!

4 Tiffany had trouble getting used to the billionaire lifestyle.

Way back when she began dating Mark Cuban, Tiffany Stewart revealed it took her a while to get use to the lavish lifestyle. Tiffany told The New York Times, she felt like Cuban’s Texas mansion was impractical and that she wouldn’t have bought it herself.

“Stewart still drives a Honda to her sales job at an ad agency,” the paper wrote in 2000. “She does not like coming home to the chateau. They are middle-class people, she says, and the house is ‘impractical’ and she would not have bought it.”

Their Dallas mansion is the same one she told The New York Times she needed to get used to.

In an interview with People Magazine, Mark Cuban said having kids really changed his and Tiffany’s lives. And living in such a large house only made their experience better and more hands on. “The biggest change in my life since I moved in here 14 years ago is, of course, the kids,” he told People. “I didn’t even go up to the second floor of this place for years until we had kids.”

All in all, the spotlight is always on Mark Cuban, but Tiffany Stewart seems to enjoy that and we respect that.
