"Zoo" has introduced some crazy scary hybrids, but these would make even them run away in fear.
Although the hybrids on “Zoo,” airing on CBS, are a threat to the existence of the human race… you have to admit they’re pretty cool.
Last season we didn’t get to see many hybrids. We saw a Long Nosed Echidna/Wolf mix in season two, and a pterodactyl/hawk mix with a woolly mammoth/rhino in the “Zoo” season three trailers, but there haven’t been any more glimpses at the new creatures.
This situation will definitely change once the season begins, since the hybrids are a large part of the Scooby gangs’ seasonal arc. However, just for kicks, we created a list of the top five hybrid mixtures we hope to see wandering around the Hybrid Territory.
This monster would be about 50 ft long and around 2,000 lbs that could eat up to 80 percent of its body weight in food. What would make this creature even scarier? It would have a genius-level intelligence.
This demon dog hybrid would have the speed of a grey hound with jaws strong enough to snap a turtle’s shell in half. Think the strength and stubbornness of a boar on steroids.
This animal wasn’t pulled from the extinct monster’s pile, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t just as lethal. This hybrid would kill all prey in the water with the speed and teeth of a shark. Can you imagine trying to escape from this thing?
This hybrid would be similar to a dragon, but maybe a tad smaller. It’d have the predatory indistinctness and swiftness of the Haast Eagle, but the jaws rip-apart-ability of a T-rex.
This one is another present animal mix. It would have the durability, intelligence and aggressiveness of a crocodile but the stinger and poison of a scorpion. Ha, good luck surviving an encounter with this one.
All animals on this list are vicious and deadly animals that either exist now or once roamed the Earth. This gives these animals a chance to actually make it to the show. All hybrids we’ve seen haven’t been cute or cuddly.
Although we’d love to see a hybrid between an Arctic Fox and a Hummingbird or something.
