If you weren't a fan of Zendaya Coleman before, you will be now.
Zendaya’s Instagram (@Zendaya) is food for the eyes – and soul, to be quite honest.
From the strikingly fierce fashion photos to her dimly lit home videos, her Instagram is the perfect place to get your Z fix. Zendaya Coleman, the actress and singer that recently featured as Michelle in “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” makes her social media a personal red carpet event you don’t want to miss. Mama Claire Stoermer raised a queen and there’s never a moment when Zendaya isn’t reminding us of this.
Since iconic fashion statements fill Zendaya’s Instagram, we just chose from her 2017 looks. We wanted to grab the photos that highlight the versatility, fierceness and elegance that comes with #BlackGirlMagic.
And although we’re only eight months into the year, this turned out be a serious challenge. Stylist Law Roach hasn’t been playing games with his star pupil.
Rich jewel colors were meant for Zendaya’s skin. Not only did her dress light up her Instagram, it lit up the Met Gala’s red carpet as well.
She regally wears her afro and shows that a black woman’s natural hair doesn’t have to be worn by Gigi Hadid to be considered high fashion. To be the runner-up behind Rihanna at only 20 years old is a feat in itself.
Whether it was intentional or not, Zendaya’s Instagram had everyone missing the Pop King on Aug. 9th. She thrilled all of the photographers the moment she hit the carpet. Her loose curls only heighten the Michael Jackson feels. All we needed to complete the experience was an MJ snap.
Okay, yes, we know she’s a part of the Marvel Universe. But anyone who’s familiar with Black Canary from the DC Universe caught those Pretty Bird vibes Zendaya gave off for the Vogue issue.
Moreover (and most importantly), Zendaya made history on this day. She became the youngest person to ever grace the cover of Vogue. Seems like Z’s shattering through glass ceilings all over the place.
The man who gave Zendaya the threads to slay our lives and snatch our wigs has been none other than Law Roach. In her caption, she revealed that she acted as his muse and we’d have to whole heartedly agree. We owe him serious thanks.
Zendaya proves her versatility with this style. She plaited down her hair into cornrows and put on sweat pants with a plain white T-shirt. And yet, somehow, she still slays as much as she does while strutting down the red carpet.
In Zendaya’s Instagram photo, she wore her own line, Daya by Zendaya. With this simple ensemble, she’s confirmed the claim that the clothes don’t make the woman, the woman makes the clothes.
Boy, Zendaya cut up at this event. For people who couldn’t be at the Ralph & Russo Party, Zendaya’s Instagram gave us the opportunity to admire her look up close. From her glittering earrings to her dress’s elaborate train, Zendaya did not come to play.
Saving the best for last, we gave the seventh spot to Zendaya’s photos from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2017 line. They put Zendaya in a gorgeously printed dress and a matching gele. Her black girl magic is blinding in a picture that makes her feel closer to her roots. As Zendaya says in her caption, Zendaya’s giving us “black princess on vacation in Capri” and we’re loving it.
