Entty shares the women of Riverdale.

One season in and “Riverdale” is officially everyone’s latest obsession. If you didn’t catch “Riverdale” Season One while it aired on the CW, you can now watch it on Netflix.

“Riverdale” follows the lives of the townspeople after the murder of quarterback Jason Blossom. And it seems as though some people know more than what they’re letting on. Dun. Dun. Duuuun.

But it’s the women in the cast who truly make the show what it is. Each one brings something different to the table which has made fans fall in love with these characters.

From Betty Cooper to Veronica Lodge, we’re happy to see women who can hold their own represented on TV.

1 Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart)

Oh, our sweet Betty Cooper.

She is the naive girl who’s in love with her next door neighbor and best friend, Archie Andrews.  So, what’s her twist? Well just so happens her sister Polly was dating Riverdale’s quarterback Jason Blossom.

Betty knows that her parents never approved of the relationship between her sister and Jason. When Polly gets shipped off somewhere by their parents to “deal with her sickness” Betty knows something isn’t right.

We see Betty go from being the innocent girl to a total badass. We can’t deny that she takes charge and does what she thinks is best for herself and her sister. She’s tired of being lied to by her parents and wants it to end.

Let’s see how “Riverdale” Season Two Betty Cooper will be different compared to the first season.

2 Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes)

Veronica aka V is the new girl in town.

Her father was convicted for fraud and embezzlement back in New York which is why she and her mom had to move to Riverdale. This is her fresh start. Although there was a slight hiccup in her friendship with Betty Cooper things ended up working in their favor. Now they’re best friends forever.

Ever since her move to “Riverdale” she has had a rough relationship with her mother thanks to her past.

Regardless of her complicated past in New York, she is the sassy, know-it-all, stick-up-for-you-no-matter-what best friend everyone needs in their life. Sure she has bumps in the road, but they make her human.

3 Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch)

Does the last name Blossom sound familiar? Well she’s the twin sister to the beloved Jason Blossom who mysteriously died at Sweetwater River.

Cheryl is the resident Queen Bee at Riverdale High School. She can be mean, manipulative, and at times shallow. All this attitude stems from her insecurities and how she’s not liked. She claims that it doesn’t bother her at school, but with her family she hates it.

Jason was trying to run away and asked for help from his little sister. When she last saw him he was alive and well because they were staging his death. However, that’s not what happened. Cheryl and her brother were best friends. They did everything together. The death of her brother took a  toll on Cheryl.

Cheryl is the person you probably don’t want to mess with. We can’t wait to see what she does in “Riverdale” Season Two.

4 Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray)

Josie is the ferocious leader of “Josie and the Pussycats”, her girl band that is rocking every Riverdale gig they can.  She’s the daughter of Mayor Mccoy, who is tied to her own shady dealings in Riverdale.

She has had problems with her father liking the music she’s pursuing. Her mother tells her not to disappoint. Although Josie pretends everything is okay it’s clearly not.
