Meet Entity's Upper Eastside Sophisticate.

My motto: “I have it all, come from the perfect family. It’s all about me.”

Sophia Alexandra Yorke is 42 and grew up in the Upper East Side in New York City, the daughter of a high-powered  Wall Street lawyer and doting mother, who afforded her an almost surreally privileged childhood, filled with summers in the Hamptons, tennis and horseback-riding lessons, and a French-speaking nanny. She studied art history at Dartmouth and moved back to Manhattan to work for Christie’s. While working there she met her husband Clive, an investment banker; she wore Vera Wang for her wedding at Tavern on the Green. She quit her job when she started having babies, even though she employs a nanny to take care of them. She fills her days with shopping, getting manicures and blow-outs, fundraising for museums and other cultural institutions, and organizing book clubs with her friends. In the summer, she goes to the Hamptons, where she plays her beloved tennis and accompanies her kids and their nanny to the beach. She’s interested in starting her own art-consulting business when her kids get older. She dresses conservatively, but extremely well—a quiet luxury: Chanel flats, Birkin bag, pearls, Tory Burch. For evening events, she likes Oscar de la Renta. She reads Vogue, but she’s not obsessed with trends. She is mostly happy, if not entirely fulfilled.
