It doesn’t matter if you have suffered for someone. And it doesn’t matter if you are the only one in your friend group who doesn’t have a significant other.
It doesn’t matter if you still don’t have a love song that makes you sigh to remember someone — or a favorite place to go with someone. Nor does it matter if they’ve already hurt you.
It doesn’t matter if someone has betrayed or deceived you. And it doesn’t matter if you have not felt butterflies in your stomach, or if you have no one in particular to dream about. It doesn’t matter if you don’t spend the night thinking about someone.
No matter. It does not matter.
And do you know why?
Because one day you will find someone who will make your heart beat fast, and you will be happy to welcome the person who makes you dream, live and sigh into your life!
You don’t have to worry about love and whether you will feel it or not. It will happen when it happens — when it’s meant to. Don’t beg for anyone’s love and attention. You don’t need this; you are worth so much more than that.
Love is like a spark. It arrives suddenly, and when it arrives, it is warm and feels great. Everyone can love, whether it be for the fifth time or for the twenty-fifth time! Love exists for all.
Any scar can heal itself and any pain can disappear. Nothing is forever — life, pain, afflictions, anguish, love…
But when love comes, tell your heart to make room for that other person. Say to them — Welcome, get comfortable! You both deserve it.
