We all know the importance of affordable, sustainable clothing, but we still want it to look and feel good! Here are three reasons why Colette Prime should be your go-to for affordable (but high-quality) fashion.

“I had a very small budget, a Prime membership, and a computer. That meant I could get cheapish things shipped for free, which was better than Forever 21 and other online stores could offer. It worked, and I could afford it—I was like, ‘This is fun and I’m broke,’” Colette told Cosmopolitan magazine.
For instance, the teddy bear jacket is super trendy right now, and this one is only $70. Broke students can embrace Colette’s account and use it to build a killer wardrobe.
Colette has a meticulously organized and categorized Amazon page sorted in a variety of ways — the clothing item itself (“Shorts and Skirts”, for example), the occasion (one is “Tropical Getaway”), the vibe (“Western/Rodeo/Southern Belle”), even the print (“Leopard rawr”).
In an interview with LinkTree, Colette said, “I don’t think anyone would be able to jump straight in there and find these products. I’ve been doing this for so long that I built up this fine history on Amazon.”
She said, “For the first two years, I would probably return half of everything – maybe it was poor quality or didn’t match the image. Because of that, you go back to the same brands that you trust and when you find them, Amazon recommends more. So you start to get a really good algorithm – it’s like a really good rhythm.”
As a result, Colette’s careful curation ensures that you won’t be ordering any damaged, low-quality, or misleading clothing by buying through her Amazon lists.
Colette’s followers are 97% female, and she is proud of it. Her Instagram is a safe space for women. She also closely interacts with her followers:
“I’ll get requests like, ‘Hey! Can you shop for me for this wedding I have coming up? I need the dress to be under $50 and red.’ So I’ll spend four hours finding them 10 dresses in their size. They may or may not buy one, but they’ll tell all their friends.”
She is a woman who cares about making her followers happy and knows how to market herself, to boot!
In an interview with Amazon Associates Programs, of which she is a member, Colette said, “My only goal is to empower women through fashion.”
Fashion can be fraught with difficulties for women. Women tend to be judged and judged again for what they wear, but Colette enables even the shyest of the bunch to engage in fearless fashion in a safe space. Colette’s Instagram is a Prime example of fashion inspiration on a budget.
