ENTITY discusses how Constance Zimmer body positive role model is an inspiration to women everywhere.

Constance Zimmer is done listening to criticism about her body.

As a woman in this world, you constantly have to face a barrage of mean-spirited comments about your looks. Thankfully, today there are plenty of celebs who aren’t shy about their personal experiences with their bodies.

Here are five times Constance Zimmer was a body positive role model. This is for any girl who has been body shamed or felt down about herself.

1 Constance Zimmer is confident with who she is no matter what her figure looks like.

Before learning to love herself and the skin that she’s in, Zimmer struggled with body confidence issues. And just like any human, sometimes she still feels insecure. “I have issues with it every single day,” she opened up to People in an interview.

However, she did admit that getting older has made a huge difference in her life.

Her experience and advice? “I just realized I am exactly what I am,” Zimmer added. “My body is the way it is – it’s never going to be a body like Kim Kardashian or Angelina Jolie. We’re all different and we’re all unique. When you become comfortable in your own skin, it actually makes you appear more attractive, because you’re just confident in who you are.”

2 She stays in shape for the most important reason: for herself.

Instead of trying to fit into another person’s idea of what she should look like, Zimmer just wants to be happy with herself. Now she works out to make herself feel good, not to make others like her body.

That’s definitely a win for Constance.

“Before, I was doing it [exercise] all for outer appearances,” Zimmer also told People. “When we change our body types for other people, it’s very hard to sustain it. But when you’re keeping up a body type for what makes you happy, and what makes you feel good, you can sustain that because you’re like, ‘I feel great.’”

From going on hikes to taking a Pilates class, she keeps active by doing some form of exercise everyday.

3 She’s made a commitment to keep it real with no botox.

Zimmer has gotten so comfortable in her own skin, she refuses to do anything to her face in the future.

“I don’t want to do anything to my face ever. I would like to get old,” the 46-year-old star previously told Entertainment Tonight.

Talk about aging gracefully and naturally.

4 She’s a proponent of the no makeup selfie.

Zimmer isn’t shy with posting no makeup photos on her Instagram account, proving that she believes in being proud of your natural beauty. Your natural beauty is a testament to your experiences – what’s not to love?

5 She wants to extend her positivity towards her daughter.

Whether it’s teaching her 8-year-old daughter, Colette, how to love her own body or how to value her worth, Zimmer’s parenting style is a good model for any mother (or future mother).

Colette is Zimmer’s only child with director Russ Lamoureux, and Zimmer has admitted that she’d support her daughter no matter what.

Currently, Colette aspires to be a “singing veterinarian” who also works as a makeup artist on the weekends, but “whatever she wants to do, I’ve decided I’ll support her,” Zimmer told Entertainment Tonight.

As for everyone else?

Constance Zimmer just wants to remind you that you should “be proud of who you are and know that you are unique and nobody can do what you can do and be who you are.”
