With two courses, American Club Resort says this course was influenced by Irish courses and so ultimately mimic the tranquil landscapes of Ireland.

Need more reason to go? Here, you get the chances to play on the same ground as some of your favorite professional golfers – this course was home to the 2004, 2010 and 2015 PGA Championship.

2 THE WORLD ICE GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP (Uummannaq, Greenland)

Have a handicap of 36 and really want to test your skill? Greenland may just be the place for you.

Take a trip to Uummannaq, Greenland and test your skills on ice. Home of the World Ice Golf Championship, this may be the trickiest course of them all. The course is nine holes and laid fresh every year. To help with the white background, golfers play with red golf balls.

3 EL CAMELEON (Qunitana Roo, Mexico)

Take a trip to Mexico for “a game of golf through diverse landscapes of forest, jungle and beach” at El Camaleón.

Chameleon is right. This course takes you through various obstacles from the standard water obstacles of beautiful lagoons and the unique ones like “The Devil’s Mouth” that you wouldn’t expect.

4 DON MUEANG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Bangkok, Thailand)

Yes, you read that right. Be aware of the red light at this gold course located between two runway strips in Bangkok.

This is may be one of the most unique golf courses ever given the fact that it is built on the grounds of Don Mueang International Airport. Airport technology states at one point this was the 18th busiest airport in the world and second busiest in Asia! To assure safety to golfers, a red light is turned on each time a plane is landing. Attention is key when it comes to navigating this course.

5 FOSSIL TRACE (Colorado, USA)

Fossil Trace gives you the opportunity to play with dinosaurs. Literally. On top of the topography throughout the course you can experience triceratops footprints on top of other prehistoric creatures fossils on holes 11-15.
