This vibrant, eccentric city has also been called The City that Never Sleeps, The Big Apple and for all you Batman fans: Gotham. New York is also known for its diversity and a range of interesting characters, which has rightly earned it the name The Melting Pot.
Here, movies stars grow on trees. For this reason, LA is widely known as The City of Flowers and Sunshine, The City of Angels, La La Land, The Big Orange and of course, The Entertainment Capital of the World.
Walking around the streets of Chicago you may hear the locals call this city Chi-Town, City in a Garden, the Second City or the Windy City.

Home of the Johnson Space Center, Houston has been referred to as The Space City. Others may call it Bayou City or the short and sweet H-Town.
