Seventy-year-old singing legend Dolly Parton is ruling showbiz at the moment. Aside from her acclaimed recent debut on “The Voice,” Parton is trending with her new TV movie, “Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.”

Huge ratings are expected for the festive film, which is a sequel to last year’s hugely successful original, “Coat of Many Colors.” That one drew 13 million viewers – the highest figure for any TV movie since 2011.

Both are named after her 1971 musical hit. The most recent of the films is the second installment of a four-part movie deal she signed with NBC, reports Rolling Stone.

The TV movie series, based on her upbringing, follows the journey of young Dolly before she hit stardom. “Christmas of Many Colors” focuses on the dramatic story of her most memorable family holiday.

The movie stays consistent with the first starring the same cast, including Jennifer Nettles and Alyvia Alyn Lind. This time, though, Parton makes a memorable cameo as the “town trollop.”

She coined the name to Jimmy Fallon back in August and confirmed that the “painted lady” character is based on a real person from her childhood who served as her style inspiration.

Next up? A film fittingly based around another song – the iconic hit she just performed with goddaughter Miley Cyrus.

“We are going into production with Jolene and if it don’t come out this year it’ll definitely be next year, because we’re gonna go ahead and get it done this year,” she told Rolling Stone Country. “The script is done, they’ve already approved all that.”

In addition to “Jolene” and “Coat of Many Colors,” Parton’s past song list is extensive. Fifteen of the country star’s songs have been ranked on the Billboard charts. She’s also acted in an array of films, including big hits such as “9 to 5” and “Steel Magnolias.”

The inspirational lady shows no signs of slowing down. Aside from her film premiere, Parton is currently on a 60 city tour with her 43rd solo studio album, “Pure and Simple.”
