Entity reports on Kristina and Nick from ABC's "The Bachelor."

Something most unusual happened on this week’s episode of “The Bachelor,”…genuine emotion.

When Kristina told her story of growing up so hungry and poor in Russia that she at one point resorted to eating lipstick, all of the sorority sisters I watched with were in tears. So was I. Even Nick Viall shed tears.

Nick immediately gave her the rose, of course. “I mean is it even humanly possible to not give her a rose after that… I mean you would have to have no heart,” said one of the friends watching this heavy scene with me.

Talking of heart, Corinne restored the comedy to the show when she actually said at the end of the episode,  ‘My heart is gold but my ‘vagine’ is platinum.”

There was so much else to enjoy too in an episode where Nick largely made even worse decisions than he did last week and my sorority sisters and I were left to wonder if this whole season is just one long “Punk’d’” episode.

We started the night off with Corinne and Nick’s dinner being interrupted by Taylor. My sorority sisters and I could not believe the attitude that Taylor was giving when she was talking to Nick. “She is delusional. She’s like that girl at a party that continuously tries to get the guy to like her and ignores all the signs that he clearly is not interested.”

Once Taylor finally got the message, she was gone, and Corinne was free to get black out drunk again. Their date night ended with a very intoxicated #TeamCorn hanging on to Nick for dear life.

Next came a rose ceremony and those who knew they were on the chopping block mentally prepared to say goodbye. When Alexis didn’t get a rose, the girls I was watching with were less than thrilled. “No please don’t do this!” begged one. “Why do you make such awful decisions?” another shouted at the screen. The little amount of respect that any of my friends had for Viall quickly went out the window.

The new crew made their way to the island paraside of St.Thomas where one of the worst shots in the show’s history ensued. Magically with their laser beam eye sight, the girls were able to see Nick flying above them in a plane. He then waved and said hello to them, again, from the plane. “That’s it I quit,” one friend said then and she got up and left the room.

That wasn’t the end of the cringe fest, because ABC got Corinne a nanny to take care of her while in St. Thomas. “They got her a nanny? This show is so clearly nothing with out her that they had to do this!?”

Then there was Kristina and Nick’s one on one date, the highlight of the episode. Her heartbreaking story about her childhood had the whole room in tears. “We didn’t have any food necessarily growing up,” she said. “I remember the cupboards being bare, and I remember eating lipstick.”

As Kristina told Nick her story about being adopted from an Russian orphanage by an American family at the age of 12 and moving to a brighter new world,  it was a rare ‘real ” momentin this crazy series and you could see a connection starting to spark between her and Nick for seemingly the first time.

Next it was off to the world’s worst group date – an inept game of volleyball. “How do all of these girls suck at volleyball?” one girl watching with me said, “Isn’t like the number one sport for hot girls volleyball?”

Jasmine lost her mind this episode. It was no surprise when Nick sent her on her way. “This girl is on her last leg and she knows it,”  one of my friends said before she was sent home. The thing that we didn’t understand was why she was bitching to the other girls about it. Like they don’t want you to be with him, so they aren’t going to help you with your problems girl?

For the next  group date, Nick picked the two most boring and basic girls to go with him, nothing much happened and soon after they were both joining Jasmine out the exit door.

Nick left Whitney on the beach and a few hours later sent Danielle packing. Then he went back to the rest of the girls and cried about it. Why? We were all very confused.

Why was everyone crying? Kristina has battled real problems in her life, they’d all be well advised to remember that.

Next week’s previews suggest more big emotion is on the way, which is super exciting. I’m counting down the days until next Monday…
