Brie Larson is a successful American actress who has been recognized for her roles in movies like “Room,” “21 Jump Street,” “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” and many more.
But what, exactly, is Brie Larson’s net worth? Thanks to her acting gigs, the 27-year-old is worth a couple million – $10 million, to be exact.
Although she is also a screenwriter, actor, director and singer, Brie Larson gets most of her money from her acting career. Brie Larson has appeared in over 30 films and television series, and she’s still not done.

Brie Larson played a woman who was held captive for years with her son, played by Jacob Trembla. The film brought $36.3 million to the box office.
In 2016, she won a Golden Globe, Academy Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for her lead role in “Room.”
Her wins got her recognized in the industry but she says it’s hard to adapt to all the attention.
Brie Larson told Business Insider, “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to grasp this — I just don’t really understand why anybody would care what I have to say. I’m just a person figuring stuff out. That’s the thing I trip out on all the time when I do days and days of press and you’re like, ‘Who cares what I think?'”
These awards bumped up the sales for “Room” and she got a big chunk of it. This has to be one of her best films to date.
Larson showed off her acting and singing talents in the 2010 film “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.”
The movie only grossed $47.7 million from a $60 million film budget. Not the best outcome, but it still helped boost Brie Larson’s net worth and fame.
2017 is already a great year for the actress. The film “Kong: Skull Island” brought in $185 million to the box office during the opening weekend, which is a major cash bump for Brie Larson.
And Brie Larson was also a fan of not having to do so much hair and makeup.
“I thought it was fun that I didn’t have to be this pristine creature,” she told Vanity Fair about her role as photographer Mason Weaver. “It would’ve been a big shock for me to go into my first big studio movie and there [are] tons of conversations about my hair and eyeliner. It was so much more comfortable to be a character covered in dirt and grime. That felt right.”
Although Brie Larson has been in the acting industry for a while now, Money Nation reports this was her first $1 million acting role.
We got to see a more comedic side of the actress in the film “21 Jump Street,” even though Larson only played a supporting role in the movie.
With the film’s huge fan following, it opened up opportunities for her career and allowed her the opportunity to play a supporting role in the Joseph Gordon-Levitt film “Don Jon.”
Brie Larson is keeping busy. Marvel recently announced she will be playing Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel) in the film, which is set to release in 2019.
When deciding whether or not to take the role of Captain Marvel she told Vanity Fair, “It took me a really long time. I had to sit with myself, think about my life and what I want out of it.”
“Ultimately, I couldn’t deny the fact that this movie is everything I care about, everything that’s progressive and important and meaningful, and a symbol I wished I would’ve had growing up. I really, really feel like it’s worth it if it can bring understanding and confidence to young women – I’ll do it,” she added.
She also has a lot more projects coming out in 2017, including her lead role in the Jeannette Walls memoir, “The Glass Castle.”
Brie Larson has come a long way and has created quite a name for herself. This is definitely not the last we’ll be hearing about her, and we can’t wait to see what other projects she has in store.
