Revlon’s got some new “Goodies” for you: Entertainment icon Ciara will team up with the beauty brand to be its new celeb spokeswoman.

Turns out Ciara is the perfect fit for the brand – the singer-songwriter was named after a Revlon perfume from the 1970s. Aside from the fragrance that influenced her name, Ciara’s favorite picks include Revlon’s brow pencils and crème eye shadows.

Ciara is known for her fierce voice and catchy beats in the R&B/hip-hop/pop mash-up genre. Her first song release, “Goodies,” landed her the #3 spot in the Billboard 200 back in 2004, with her 2006 album “Ciara: The Evolution” hitting #1. Since then, the singer-songwriter has released four more albums, dipped her feet into the acting world and scored a modeling contract with IMG.

The celeb follows in the elegant footsteps of female actresses Emma Stone, Olivia Wilde and Halle Barry. All three of these women served as previous Revlon ambassadors. These talented beauties have appeared in commercials and have supported the brand’s global initiatives, such as the women’s health campaign “Love Is On.” Aside from her social media and advertisement campaigns, Ciara will also help promote Revlon’s “Choose Love” message and overall Love Is On platform.

“Having my own personal journey that I’ve had through my life, I’ve just really been about female empowerment and that’s really, that’s really important to Revlon, too,” Ciara said via People. “It’s an exciting thing because, you know, it’s bigger than the makeup. They take it a step further by using the platform to help make a difference.”

ENTITY thinks this inspirational woman is perfect for the job. Her gorgeous face will market the products well – and she’ll speak up for female empowerment to support #WomenThatDo. She’s definitely helping the beauty business “1, 2 Step” in the right direction!
