The two married in 1990, but split up in 2015. Within their 25 years of marriage they had three children. The pair also has two daughters and a son – Caprice, Skye and Brendan.
But who, exactly, is Diane Plese?

Diane Plese is an optometrist who ended up being Robert’s doctor. The former couple actually met long before Robert made millions. He went in for an eye appointment and, according to National Post, it was “love at first sight.”
However, since Diane has always been discreet with what she releases to the media, there is nothing new about her career as an optometrist or about how long she’s been doing it.
There had been a lot of rumors surrounding the reason for Diane Plese divorce from Robert Herjavec.
Before they divorced, there were stories saying Robert was cheating on her with Kym Johnson, his co-star and dance partner on “Dancing with the Stars.” Diane allegedly decided to get divorced when she found out about the affair between her husband and Kym. But Diane shut down those rumors quick.
Diane said in an interview, “Robert is a caring husband and a responsible person towards his family, but I cannot live with him anymore and the reasons behind our separation will not be disclosed among the public.”
At the time, Robert also denied the rumors of him cheating on Diane and said, “The entire cast and crew of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is evolving into an extended family and is incredibly supportive,” he told PEOPLE. “Kym has become a great friend, and it is so much fun to be able to share this experience with her.”
Diane was born and raised in Toronto, so it’s not a surprise she’d like to have a lavish home in Canada. According to the video above, the former couple was interviewed for Movato HOME Magazine to feature their Canadian home in their segment. Leah Lipkowitz is an interior design expert who took interest in their French-style chateau home in Toronto’s Bridle Path.
Diane Plese currently resides in Canada with her children, but it is not known if this is the house she lives in.
Diane’s divorce from Robert was not a smooth one. Until today, neither of them have given a clear reason as to why the marriage didn’t work out. But in an interview with PEOPLE in 2015, Robert said, “Human relationships are so difficult. I wish nothing but love and peace for our family as we move forward from this.”
After the divorce drama came financial settlement drama. They didn’t sign a prenuptial so Diane fought for her share of Robert’s $200 million net worth. The ugly battle was settled after months of disputes. They came to a conclusion that Diane would get half of his whole properties. Thus, Diane Plese’s net worth is now $100 million.
Robert found love again and remarried a year after his split with Diane.
He married Kym Johnson, the professional ballroom dancer that was rumored to be in a relationship with him back when he was still married to Diane. Robert and Kym Johnson were partners on “Dancing With The Stars” and rumored lovers. But, as previously discussed, there were no sources to confirm these allegations.
The couple got married in August 2016, but before they tied the knot, Robert had Kym sign a prenuptial agreement that would restrict her from asking for any of his real estate if the marriage ended.
According to Daily Mail, “Kym will get $100,000 for every year they are married, capped at $1 million, if the marriage ends.” This move was necessary for him after what had just happened between him and Diane.
