Entity loves Drew Barrymore's recent no makeup selfies.

Before Alicia Keys and Kim Kardashian, Drew Barrymore was a leading proponent of the no makeup trend. Just last year, she posted a barefaced photograph with her eyes closed as she basked in the sun’s warmth, happily celebrating her 40th birthday. A couple days ago, she returned to the beach and took a classic, black and white no makeup selfie, wishing everyone a “Happy Sunday!”

Every now and then, the “Charlie’s Angels” and “50 First Dates” star even posts a post-workout selfie and hashtags “sweaty Saturdays.”

Although the celebrity owns her own fragrance and cosmetics line, Flower Beauty, she is a leading supporter of doing whatever makes you feel confident. Makeup is a significant part of women’s lives, but that doesn’t mean it has to be in control. Instead, Barrymore teaches her fans to focus on more important things like supporting other women. In an interview with People, Barrymore says, “There’s some wonderful stuff happening out there, including Honest and lots of other makeup artists and women. It’s great. We should all be celebrating each other and supporting each other.”

And even if wearing concealer and foundation can make Barrymore feel better on a bad day, she firmly believes that “Happiness is the best makeup any woman can wear. It’s all about the inside.”
