Megan Marx and Tiffany Scanlon appeared on “The Bachelor” to find love with Richie Strahan – but ended up falling for each other.

Australian beauties Megan Marx and Tiffany Scanlon met on the Australian “Bachelor,” where both women were contestants on the show. While Tiffany was eliminated three weeks into the program, Megan turned down a rose from Richie. Watch the dramatic encounter above, courtesy of The Bachelor Australia.

Although Tiffany was admitted she was shocked by Richie’s decision to dismiss her, she expressed nothing but love for the experience – particularly her fellow contestant Megan.

“100 percent, Megan’s like my best friend,” Tiffany said via PopSugar. “We’ve got a friendship for life now. And even though I wasn’t as close to a lot of the other girls as I was with Megan, I’m going to be friends with all of those girls. We shared an experience that nobody else but us will experience.”

While neither women won Richie’s heart, the friendship that formed between Megan and Tiffany eventually blossomed into a romance. The two beauties have been dating ever since, sharing a slew of adorable photos on Instagram. Their faces radiate, showing off wide, toothy grins and a genuine sparkle in their eyes.

Megan recently took Tiffany on a romantic beach vacation for her 30th birthday. The adventurous duo traveled to the Abrolhos Islands for the week, goofing off in the sand with champagne and snorkeling around the reef like elegant mermaids.

Their story is inspiring for all women looking for love, especially within the LGBTQ community.

“From that first cocktail party, it was like this instant calibration between souls, as if we had known each other once before,” Megan said via Instagram. “Friendship ripened into something bolder, trust in a very strange situation was formed, and now every adventure we have rivals the other – and continues to make plans for itself.”

These lovebirds/BFFs don’t look like they’ll be appearing on another dating show anytime soon. ENTITY is ecstatic these women found each other in such ironic circumstances and wish them nothing but the best. Congrats, ladies!
