First woman usher fired from Trump administration, Entity reports.

This time for seemingly no reason.

Angella Reid, the first woman to hold the prestigious chief usher position was reportedly fired. That position is responsible for “the management of the building and oversees residence staff.”

And many have taken to Twitter to protest her firing, with Obama’s former top economic adviser Alan B. Krueger posting, “Angella was a model worker. She has perfect recall of names and faces. She served the White House with honor.”

Reid had been hired by the Obama administration in 2011. She is the second African-American to fill the role. Speaking about the position last year, she told CNN, “It gives me a sense of awe, the fact that slaves built this house and I now work in this house as a leader, something out of my wildest dreams.” Truly inspiring.

Now, we’ve already covered how it seems like Donald Trump had been setting the few women of his administration up for failure. You know, picking a handful of women to make it look like he’s not the complete sexist he is, and then slowly watching them fail their way out like, whoops I tried but what can I do if they’re just not good enough?

But in this situation, no reason seems to have been provided for Reid’s dismissal. Some are even speculating it was because she was a Hillary Clinton supporter.

An official told the Washington Post, “We are very grateful for her service and wish her the very best.” How diplomatic.

Obama’s former White House deputy chief of staff Alyssa Mastromonaco went a bit more real talk with it. She RT-ed the news, commenting, “This is really some shit. Please RT so people know who 45 thinks is disposable.”

Mastromonaco has a point. I’d say it’s pretty clear of late who Trump thinks is disposable.
