Entity shares an ode to strong women.

We all know a strong woman whom we admire. Strong women are our mothers, sisters, teachers, bosses, mentors, politicians and friends.

And I don’t know about you, but I’d certainly like to be considered one.

Being a strong woman means to stand up for yourself when the situation calls for it. Be the woman who handles adversity and the obstacles that get thrown your way as eloquently as possible.

A strong woman isn’t afraid of what people might think of her. She’s smart enough to take constructive criticism from someone because she understands that it’s important for her fundamental growth. But she will not be talked down to.

She understands that in order to be the best that she can possibly be she is going to have to go through some major challenges, because, after all, what doesn’t challenge you, doesn’t change you.

Strong women take the challenges head on. If everything were easy everyone would be doing it. But only strong women can see the value in the challenge.

Ladies, I would encourage you to live up to the challenge of being a strong woman. Get out of your head and work through your anxiety of all the attention being on you. Get the negative thoughts out of your head.

They only bring out the insecurities that are so hard to fight through. Stop being afraid of asking stupid questions. Be yourself and own it.

Don’t hide behind big clothes, big glasses or anything that you think won’t get you noticed. Be the woman that you deserve to be.

Strong women know what they want, so if you’re an indecisive person, get it together, girl! Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. You have to make a few mistakes before you get it right, and even then you’ll most likely make a few more. No one is perfect.

Allow yourself to take risks. You never know what’s on the other side of the door. A strong woman takes advantage of her opportunities.

Strong women stand up for themselves, and most importantly, they respect themselves. Because if they don’t, then how will anyone know to give them the respect that they deserve?

Strong women aren’t boastful, pretentious or bullies to other women. A real, strong woman looks out for others and doesn’t let people get punked.

Strong women lift their sisters up. They don’t tear them down.

Here’s to all the strong women in our lives!
