Donald Trump’s Twitter account has become legendary (and not in a good way). For years he has been loud and proud, provoking multiple Twitter wars with anyone from actors to reporters to singers to politicians.
Leading up to the 2016 election, we witnessed the President-elect attacking more than one person who disagreed with his political stances. It’s no surprise that Hillary Clinton and former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart were among those on the receiving end of Trump’s Twitter. But who else aggravated the President-elect?
Let’s take a look at some of the most hilarious Twitter wars between Donald Trump and his ‘enemies.’
Jon Stewart has had a long history of disputes with Trump. This particular fight started in 2013.
I promise you that I’m much smarter than Jonathan Leibowitz – I mean Jon Stewart @TheDailyShow. Who, by the way, is totally overrated.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 24, 2013
The next month, Stewart commented on “The Daily Show,” “By the way, did you know Donald Trump’s birth name is F-ckface Von Clownstick? That’s all over Twitter, I hope.”
Trump was quick with his replies.
What’s funny about the name “F**kface Von Clownstick” — it was not coined by Jon Leibowitz– he stole it from some moron on twitter.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 3, 2013
If Jon Stewart is so above it all & legit, why did he change his name from Jonathan Leibowitz? He should be proud of his heritage!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 3, 2013
Stewart took to his “Daily Show” Twitter account to reply.
Can’t an overrated Jew have a complicated relationship with his dad without being accused of hiding his heritage? #FuckFaceVonClownstick
— The Daily Show (@TheDailyShow) May 3, 2013
We seem to have hit a Fuckface Von Nervestick.

Ah, the infamous Hillary Clinton ‘delete your account’ comment. This one tweet alone has generated from likes and retweets than any of her other comments.
Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama—but nobody else does!

When Donald Trump tweeted that Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren was “goofy,” Warren was quick with a rebuttal, throwing Trump’s own words back in his face.
Goofy Elizabeth Warren is weak and ineffective. Does nothing. All talk, no action — maybe her Native American name?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 7, 2016
“Goofy,” @realDonaldTrump? For a guy with “the best words” that’s a pretty lame nickname. Weak!
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 7, 2016
Even after the election results were announced, Donald Trump couldn’t keep from tweeting about his ‘Saturday Night Live’ viewing experience.
I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night. It is a totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 20, 2016
Alec Baldwin, who popularly impersonates Trump on the show, had a few words of advice for the President-elect.
…@realDonaldTrump
Equal time?
Election is over. There is no more equal time. Now u try 2 b Pres + ppl respond. That’s pretty much it.

This particular exchange occurred after Trump and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto met in late October 2016.
Mexico will pay for the wall!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 1, 2016
Nieto responded hours later with this tweet, which translated into English means, “I repeat what I said in person, Mr. Trump: Mexico would never pay for a wall.”
Repito lo que le dije personalmente, Sr. Trump: México jamás pagaría por un muro. https://t.co/IJNVe0XepY

Cher clearly had a bone to pick with Donald Trump in 2012. After declaring a boycott of retail store Macy’s, the singer accused Trump of wearing a “rug.”
I’ll NEVER GO TO MACY’S AGAIN !
I didnt know they sold Donald Trump’s Line! If they don’t care that they sell products from a LOUDMOUTH
— Cher (@cher) November 12, 2012
RACIST CRETIN,WHO’D LIE LIKE “HIS RUG”TO GET SOME CHEAP PRESS ! I CANT BELIEVE MACY’S THINKS HE’S THE RIGHT “MAN” 2 REPRESENT THEIR NAME !
— Cher (@cher) November 12, 2012
The Donald responded to the insult with a few insults of his own.
.@cher should spend more time focusing on her family and dying career!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 13, 2012
.@cher–I don’t wear a “rug”—it’s mine. And I promise not to talk about your massive plastic surgeries that didn’t work.

Soon after the election, Mike Pence attended massively popular Broadway play “Hamilton” with his family. At the end of the night, Brandon Dixon, who plays Aaron Burr in the play, spoke directly to the Vice President-elect.
“We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir,” said Dixon. “But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values, and work on behalf of all of us.”

“Hamilton” writer Lin-Manuel Miranda tweeted his support.
Proud of @HamiltonMusical. Proud of @BrandonVDixon, for leading with love.
And proud to remind you that ALL are welcome at the theater.— Lin-Manuel Miranda (@Lin_Manuel) November 19, 2016
However, Donald Trump demanded an apology from the cast.
Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 19, 2016
The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 19, 2016
Dixon calmly replied, advising Trump that “conversation is not harassment.”
@realDonaldTrump conversation is not harassment sir. And I appreciate @mike_pence for stopping to listen.
