Pitch Perfect. This movie will forever be one of our favorites. The music is fantastic, and we definitely love singing along. Brittany Snow and Anna Kendrick will for sure empower you in all three of these girl power movies.
Like the Bellas, you’re also courageous and confident. As an Aries, you’re definitely not afraid to put yourself out there and be seen. You’re super optimistic, and people love how open-minded you are about everything you care about. So never stop giving “your best shot” to all your goals.
Legally Blonde. If Elle Woods isn’t a symbol of female power, we don’t know who is. Getting into Harvard (what, like it’s hard?) is just one of the many things she was able to accomplish. So watch this throwback movie and watch her kick some serious butt.
Like Elle, chances are you’re super dedicated to accomplishing your goals. As a Taurus, you’ve always been a passionate person. You would never let anyone or anything stop you from following your dreams. Above all, you know that hard work now can definitely pay off in the future.
She’s the Man. A fun play on a Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” this movie features Amanda Bynes as Viola, a soccer player dressed up as her twin brother Sebastian. This is one of our all-time favorite girl power movies, and we’ve definitely seen it at least ten times.
Like Amanda Bynes in this movie, you’re also super witty and humorous. You’re great at adapting to random, strange situations, and you always have fun doing it. However, you do appreciate having some sort of routine in your life, and you never let things get out of control.
The Princess Diaries. We can’t help but get a little nostalgic when this movie pops up. The young Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi finds out she’s a princess…as if she didn’t already have enough to worry about in high school.
Cancers are super sentimental, but we also find ourselves getting sentimental thinking about how this movie came out 17 years ago. Like Princess Mia, you’re definitely in touch with your emotions. You let your heart guide you through life, and you’re not afraid to reveal your true colors.
Charlie’s Angels. What’s better than an awesome movie featuring some kick-ass female spies? Nothing. It came out 18 years ago, and we’re still watching it today. This twist on the 70s television series definitely makes us proud to be girls.
Like the Angels, Leos never shy away from the spotlight. People always admire how confident you are in your own skin, so you’re definitely not afraid to stand out and be yourself. As a fire sign, you’re super creative and have a sense of humor that no one can resist.
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Ah yes, a young Blake Lively living her best life. This pure tale of friendship really warms our hearts, so we suggest you give it a rewatch. These girls stick together through it all and somehow manage to fit into the same pair of pants while doing it.
Like these four best friends, Virgos are super loyal and kind. Your warmhearted spirit draws people in, but you definitely don’t give your heart away when you first meet someone. You like to know what you’re getting into before committing to someone or something.
The Other Woman. This movie features an all-star cast of stunning ladies getting their much-needed revenge on one man. The unlikely friendship between the wife and girlfriends is actually heartwarming in a way.
As a Libra, you love having close relationships with many different people. You love having deep emotional connections with your friends, and much like these three gals, you can get along with almost anyone. Staying busy is your forte, and you’re always coming up with new ways to fill your weekends.
Miss Congeniality. We love this classic tale of an undercover FBI agent posing as a beauty pageant contestant. Sandra Bullock plays the sassy and strong Agent Gracie, and she definitely works it (when she’s not tripping and falling on her face, that is).
Like Sandra Bullock in this movie, Scorpios are extremely brave and passionate. People tend to think that Scorpios are mysterious, and you definitely have a charming side to you. You don’t reveal everything right off the bat, which leaves people wanting to get to know you more.
Sleepover. This movie features a group of girls trying to find themselves before starting high school. There’s romance, dancing, and even Jane Lynch. So basically, it’s a great movie that you need to watch right now.
Much like Julie in this movie, you love freedom and crave the ability to find your own path in life. You love exploring and meeting new interesting people, and therefore discovering your true self. You’re super open-minded about your future, and you never let the stress of life get to you.
Mamma Mia! While we’re definitely excited for the sequel to come out, we will never forget the original classic. It’s a heartwarming mother-daughter tale, and the music also rocks. So sit back, relax, and enjoy watching the beautiful cast of “Mamma Mia!” in the equally beautiful country of Greece.
Like the dynamic duo of Sophie and Donna, Capricorns also love family and tradition. You’re super independent, so you definitely need your alone time every now and then. But your close group of friends has been there with you through it all, and you know they’d do anything for you.
How To Be Single. This movie is for sure on the side of comedic girl power movies, but we still love it. Watch as Alice (Dakota Johnson) and Robin (Rebel Wilson) take on the city that never sleeps. Be prepared to laugh. A lot.
Much like these two girls, as an Aquarius, you know you have endless possibilities in life. You never limit yourself to just one thing, and you’re always down to explore new places. You’re super independent and unique, and you love letting your personality shine through.
John Tucker Must Die. This is one of the classic girl power movies; it’s all about girls showing what they’re made of. If this group doesn’t make you feel fired up, nobody can. Whatever the occasion is, this movie will forever be one of our top go-to’s.
Like Brittany Snow and her squad, you’re great at getting along with people with whom you don’t share much in common. You can easily make new friends and you love getting to know new people. As a Pisces, you’re always willing to take one for the team, and your friends love how loyal you are.
