And with hopeless romantic quotes like “Right now, someone you haven’t met is out there wondering what it would be like to meet someone like you,” it’s no wonder you’re so in touch with your sensitive side. Which can sometimes be a downer.

After all, life usually isn’t a hopeless romantic movie (even though sometimes we want it to be).

…And they explained why this can be problematic.

“This mindset has always gotten to me to the point where every girl I meet I think she’s the ‘one.’ A simple greeting from any girl triggers my ‘hopeless romantic’ mode on.”

While it’s not bad to love being in love, the user said it’s starting to make them sad.

“Once, I think I have her attention and I get rejected, it just devastates me. I know I shouldn’t put women on a pedestal but they’re just so beautiful…”

But another pointed out that this is not necessarily a bad thing.

“Cultivate values. Understand that no one can make you happy. The best love is self-love holmes. Once you have been in a few LTR’s, you realize that getting a gf was never the thing that was going to fix you.'”
