Entity explores what Justin Trudeau stands for which makes him even lovelier.

If you’ve drooled over photos of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau snuggling pandas or working out in the boxing ring, there’s no need to remind you of his charming, charismatic demeanor or classically handsome good looks.

But if you’re not from Canada, you may not be familiar with his liberal stance on political issues, which makes him all the more attractive.

A man with style and substance, here are five reasons Justin Trudeau makes us swoon.

1 He’s a Proud Feminist.

In an interview with Vox journalist, Elizabeth Plank, Trudeau explains why he believes all men should identify as feminists. “You really should be a feminist because it’s about equality, it’s about respect,” he says. “It’s about making the best of the world that we have.”

He’s not all talk either. Prime Minister Trudeau appointed a gender-balanced cabinet with 15 men and 15 women advisors. At the 2016 World Economic Forum, he called for gender parity in politics and business, sharing a panel with “Lean In” advocate, Sheryl Sandberg.

2 He Welcomes Refugees in Defiance of Fear and Xenophobia.

Trudeau and his Liberal Party pledged to accept 25,000 Syrian refugees into Canada, significantly more than originally proposed by the Conservative Party. When the first wave of refugees arrived at the airport, Justin Trudeau personally greeted them saying, “You’re safe at home now.”

With so many countries refusing to accept refugees or relegating them to the lowest levels of society, he pledged to give these people – who have already faced extensive hardship – full rights as permanent residents of Canada.

3 He Supports LGBTQ Rights.

The Prime Minister introduced legislation designed to bolster transgender rights by specifically banning hate speech, hate crimes and other discrimination against trans people. This July, Justin Trudeau made history when he became the first Canadian Prime Minister to walk in a gay pride parade while still in office.

4 He’s Drawing Attention to Injustices Against the Indigenous Population.

Trudeau aims to lift unfair and outdated policies that negatively impact Canada’s aboriginal peoples, including the 2 percent budget cap on education for indigenous children. According to Vice, his government’s budget will allocate “never-before-seen levels of funding for Indigenous communities” over the next five years.

He has also pledged to “launch a national public inquiry into missing and murdered indigenous women.” The BBC has reported on this epidemic, which has unfortunately become so widespread, the indigenous populations have taken to dredging the Red River to look for clues and bodies.

5 He Won’t Try to Control Your Uterus.

A pro-choice supporter, Justin Trudeau stood firm in his beliefs, even after being targeted by a graphic anti-abortion flier. He explained to reporters, “I am perfectly comfortable with Canadians knowing that the Liberal Party is unequivocal in its defense of women’s rights. We are the party of the Charter. We are the party that stands up for people’s rights. We will continue to do so.”

6 He’s an Amazing Father.

It’s no secret that Justin Trudeau is a committed to his wife, former TV host Sophie Grégoire, and their three children. It seems the couple has established a true partnership to raise Xavier, Ella and Hadrien. Trudeau has shared their plan to teach their sons about feminism and respect for women, not just his daughter. He told Vox, “It’s messy being a parent, but it’s exciting.”

So if the reality of the Trump administration is scaring you, perhaps you might want to think about moving to Canada.
